It will be a good self defense ammo there is not a lot of choice in good ammo for the AK most is FMJ or steel core and will over penetrate and pose a threat to persons behind your intended target this soft point ammo is designed to deform after hitting you target making a bigger wound channel and not over penetrating hollow points would be better but they are hard to find and expensive

This ammo is extremely hard to find, but luckily Buds had it in stock. Very good price on it also. This ammo will shoot 3/4 inch at 100 yards. Will definitely be watching Buds for hard to find ammo....
