Fun round to shoot. Drops like a rock though and I believe the velocity is a little low for things like elk, but bellow that it'll do the trick. Shot a box of this after shooting a box of high velocity rounds and it's a night and day difference in comfort. You can shoot this all day long and not get sore. It's very accurate as well once you get it sighted in. One thing to note is it does shoot a little dirtier then some rounds, but if you're doing what you should you'll be cleaning your gun after every range visit anyways.

This ammo shoots very well with nice accuracy in my 1873 trapdoor Springfield. It has just the right powder charge and the brass has lasted for multiple reloads so far. AAAA+ I just wish they could produce it for less cost but you can't have everything right?
