The 212 Slug Gun is a 12-gauge shotgun featuring a highly specialized bolt action shotgun that obsoletes the traditional shotgun with a rifled barrel. The 220 features AccuTrigger, a feature offering user-adjustable trigger pull, so there's no need for a gunsmith to modify it. AccuTrigger also provides a crisp, clean trigger pull, which enhances accuracy. The detachable box magazine and blued carbon steel barrel are set in a black synthetic stock with cut checkering and swivel studs. It comes with an over-sized bolt handle and is drilled and tapped for scope mounts.

was an accurate shotgun with hornady sst slugs. However it had feeding issues.

great shooter, but jams on chambering a round. I still use it, although i bought the 20 ga this year and like it even better.

I've had this slug gun for 5 seasons and have taken deer out to 150 yds. Most have run 30 yds or less after being hit. Incredibly accurate and prefers Remington AccuTips. It won't disappoint.

Buds shipping to my FFL was fast and easy, very happy with the service i received. I am very happy with the shotgun as received, was shipped well and arrived without damage. i did however notice an issue with my safety on the firearm, the safety functions fine except in the "3rd" position, the position that typically locks the bolt and blocks the trigger, the trigger was blocked, but the bolt was not. i am not sure if this as Savage designed it, or if mine was defective, however i was able to easily remedy the situation by machining a new bolt lock.......in the grand scheme of things this isnt a huge deal, and i would definitely buy again

With the recommendation of a relative, I bought the Savage 212 shotgun for my first-time deer hunting experience. First of all, I give a 5 stars for Budsgunshop's timely and quality service. I made five kills, including an 8-point buck...all killed by a single shot to the shoulder. I couldn't be happier.

Excellent shotgun for a dedicated slug gun..... Trigger is clean and crisp. Mounted a Redfield revolution 2X7 on a one piece base.... Perfect East coast woods gun. Testing out some Lightfields but so far so good....
