GOOD VALUE, TRIGGER PULL A BIT HEAVY VERY RELIABLE

Gun arrived with a ghost ring sight installed and the scope in a bubble wrap. The ghost ring sight was a pain to remove, and left 4 raised holes in the plastic picatinny on the rifle. The picatinny clamps for the supplied scope would not clear the rail and required extensive sanding to clear. Also, as shown, the eye relief for that scope is too great, you have to mount it as far back as possible and it is still almost too far from your eye to get a full picture. There are many nice accessories available online for this gun, and with just a few simple mods the cost of this very inexpensive gun can rise rather quickly. I removed the existing front sight and barrel rail, installed a large diameter barrel shroud, Muzzle brake, short picatinny, light and foregrip and replaced the charging handle with a slightly larger more attractive piece. I also purchased 2-20 rd mags and 3-14 rd mags. I now have $600 in this $300 gun plus lots of labor, modding and fitting, but the end result is a beautiful, well shooting CQB that gets loads of compliments and is still a great deal. I give it 3 stars for as-is, 5 stars for potential, so an average of 4.

NICE LITTLE SHOOTER FOR THE PRICE--HAD TO RETURN IT TO THE FACTORY BECAUSE THE BARREL SPLIT RIGHT AT THE MUZZLE. HAD NO PROBLEM GETTING THE FACTORY TO REPLACE THE BARREL AND COMPLETELY CLEAN AND RETURN VERY QUICKLY.

I am really confused as to why so many call this carbine junk or ugly. My only guess is they have preconceived notions that something MUST be expensive to be good. This little carbine proves that you can in fact still find decent quality without spending a ton. I already have the 9mm and believe me, it shoots just fine (as I'm sure the 45acp will). Personally I think the gun is quite good looking. Granted it's not a Colt or Bushmaster, but I already have several of those. :) Get one, I highly recommend it. Kudos to Bud's for even having this little gem in stock. (as most stores do not).
