Awsome purchase .love the .45lc round. love the way it feels in my hand .accurate right out of the box the 45acp cylinder is a bonus it's also accurate right out of the box. A great purchase l would buy this again, and l might to have a matched pair for cowboy action shooting .

I love this revolver. Being able to shoot both 45LC and 45ACP is a great advantage for me. I reload both so by shooting 45ACP it only .15 cents a shot and I can also shoot my very very powerful 45LC. Ruger makes a strong revolver that can handle all of my reloading. (5) stars for this one. It is a blast to shoot. It is also the partner to my Henry 45LC rifle.

What can I say about Ruger Revolvers that hasn't already been said? These are good solid pistols. With minimal care, I feel it's good for 200 years of service. Bud's is about the same in the distributor world, lol. I ordered it. They delivered it, no bs. A smooth transaction with no complaints.

I really enjoy this gun. The 5.5" barrel seems to be perfectly balanced for me. I also own a 7.5" barreled Blackhawk in 45 Colt. The cylinder swap out between the 45 ACP and 45 Colt takes a matter of seconds. I tried both ACP and Colt cylinders and the point of aim was close enough. These Blackhawks are really classic and well worth it.

I primarily got this revolver as single-action complement to my Para 1911 GI Expert. The weapon's got a good amount of kick to it when firing either .45 LC or .45 ACP. Accuracy is whatever you could make of it depending on your skill level. I'm not the greatest out there, but I hit my paper!! Only hang-up I've noticed is the difference in shell extraction between the .45 ACP and .45 LC cylinders. The .45 ACP ejected cleanly and without needing much force. The .45 LC needed a bit of force and often needed to be pulled the rest of the way out of the cylinder after ejecting. At the same time though, it could've been a bad batch and that was the only box at the range. So another try with a different batch of LC. But as for the .45 ACP, can't go wrong and the ammo's cheaper when you want some big bore, single-action fun!!

One simple, solid, honest weapon. Nothing super fancy but typical Ruger workmanship and finish. I’ve shot it once at the range and I have the impression that it might be more accurate with 45 Colt lead bullets than 45 ACP hardball? I’m going to try it next with Buffalo Bore 45+P. Read the manual before switching cylinders. Open the loading gate prior to pulling the cylinder pin or you’re in for some frustration trying to perform the swap.

Love this gun, can shoot the old cowboy loads and practice with less expensive ACP rounds.
