The SA-459 TR is a dependable semi-auto designed specifically for home defense. It has a gas-operated semi-automatic action that reduces felt recoil, making the 12 gauge ideal for females or shooters of small stature. This SA-459 has a 5+1 (2 3/4") or 4+1 (3") capacity, 18.5" chrome-lined barrel with removable ported cylinder choke tube, oversize hourglass bolt handle and swivel studs. The black synthetic stock features a pistol grip and a trimmer forend for easy handling.

I have since sold this shotgun. It would never shoot light loads of Winchester or Federal. I finally had it shooting Federal long distant loads with the light load piston. I would rather have a pump that is not so temperamental about ammo! Buds service was good as usual but didn't like the Shotgun!!

Buds Gun Shop was fast and accurate. The Weatherby SA459 was just purchased but appears to be designed and made very well. It was packaged with the pump action manual instead of the auto manual but aside from that a very good purchase.
