My experience with buds has been fantastic. It was a very easy process to find the gun I wanted and buy it and even had it shipped to an ffl near me. The whole process was really hassle free. The gun came exactly as pictured In excellent condition. Also I would like to say no one else had this in stock but buddy did. They are awesome and I will definitely shop here again

This is a very nice 1911. The only small issue to report is that the plunger tube seems slightly loose. Otherwise, it is tight and well put together with a quality finish. I have 425 rounds through it in four sessions at the range with no malfunctions whatsoever. The stock mags as well as the Wilson Combat ETM mags worked without a hitch. This is a beautiful 1911 you should be pleased to add to your collection.

this was my first 1911 pistol, I only own 2 other pistols, but I'm very happy with this gun it operates flawlessly and is extremely accurate. in addition buds makes this process seamless, I saved a couple hundred dollars off the list price plus 8% sales tax. It feel odd making a gun purchase through the internet, but after one transaction you will fell like a pro.

Great gun but disappointed that the beaver tail safety grip rattles. Sent back to S&W for adjustments. Overall, great pricing, fast shipping, and would buy from again, thanks!

Well, Had to send pistol back to S&W, Grip safety, was sloppy, and when you hold it left handed, the grip safety is pushed slightly to the right and was hanging up on the frame, also the tension on the sear spring, for the grip safety, was really mushy. Did not notice, the hanging up problem, till i got it home, and was cleaning it. Also when decocking it manually, you could feel and hear a noise coming from the mainspring housing, like the mainspring cap, was hanging up in the housing. other than that it looks nice. Havent got to shoot it yet, I will say my taurus PT1911 AR , was built better than this smith and wesson, at half the price. Should have got the Kimber pro raptor 2, but it wasnt available at the time, Hopefully S&W will set things right, if you buy this pistol, check the stuff I didnt before you accept it from your FFL. Lesson learned, no more impulse buying. Not buds fault, they still rock!

Upscale with an " E " ,Smith & Wesson's E-Series: A cut above the usual 1911 lineup ,nothing could be better but the wonderful customer service from BUDS GUN SHOP .com thay take good care of you..thanks again......

I have purchased this S&W M1911 45 ESER 5 RAIL 2TN 09152011. It scratches up very easy and the only way to fix the scratched finish is to get it bead blasted at $50 dollars. Everything else is satisfactory at best.
