• Q: Good afternoon everyone. I'm looking into getting a 40 or 10mm. Does Ruger make an SR sieries 10mm? If not, what's the closest comparison in 10mm made by Ruger? Thank you

  Only in the sr1911 not in the polymer guns like the sr40 I carry a SR40C and it is a great gun

• Q: Has Ruger discontinued sr40

  Noah, The SR series is no longer on the Ruger website. Several forums have said the SR series will not be supported any longer. Love my SR40C. Great trigger, size, capacity and fine handling firearm. Keeping mine.
• Q: The only complaint I have with Ruger is the lack of good holsters. I want to purchase the SR40 but can't find a good OWB or Drop Leg Holster. I prefer the Safariland with rotating hood and automatic locking system but they don't have one that fits the SR40. I want good quality and durability. If I can't find one, I'll just have to purchase the Glock G22. Any suggestions? Thank you.

  yes it does mine came with 2 magazines, loading tool and a lock in a plastic case

• Q: Is there a preferred practice round that cycles through this gun consistently?

  Federal FMJ and WInchester FMJ 180gr , keep the gun lubed on the light side "not wet" and she will run fine.
  Try not to run reloads my experince is they are not consistent and that particular gun doesnt like hot loads which can and does happen.
