Good basic rifle.Great deal so don't have to worry about it getting roughed up.

Lightweight and accurate. Installed Leupold 3i 2.5-8x36 on Tally rings. Installed non-bedded Bell and Carlson Model 7 stock. Sighted in with proper barrel break in. Shot 20 rounds with preferred hunting round Federal 165 grain Sierra GameKing. Last 5 shot group measured a .65. Smooth bold operation and feeding. I was surprised by the accuracy considering the lightweight barrel. I can recommend the Remington Model 7 and look forwarding to lugging around a much lighter rifle this upcoming hunting season.

Bought this rifle from buds about a year ago and their service was excellent. This little rifle has been the perfect light weight mountain rifle for the hunting I do on Kodiak Island. Loaded with 180 grain nosler partitions, I took my first mt. Goat at 150 yards. Rifle with this load shoots right at 1 moa. In short rugged, light and "minute of dead animal" accurate!
