I have a Charter Arms Bulldog and was looking for some grips to replace the worn wooden grips. I like and use Pachmayr grips on multiple revolvers. Not too many companies make grips for the Bulldog. A lot of vendors don't have them in stock, Bud's did and I got the product I needed in a timely manner.

I have had several different aftermarket grips on my 44 special Charter Arms Bulldog. The Pachmayr Compac Grip is my favorite so far, while the least expensive of the grips I have tried it suits the gun the best. Its a perfect fit, like an improved version of the stock grip. The Pachmayer is hand filling without overpowering the looks of the gun. The light weight Bulldog is a handful with heavier standard 44's and the Compac grip is just what is needed to tame the recoil. My Bull dog is nitride coated, the grip compliments it perfectly. But I think it would be equally handsome on the stainless steel model.
