This is my second metro arms 1911. First two mags ran a bit rough with a couple fail to feeds. Possibly more to do with limp wristing it. Afterwards, it ran 300 rounds ball ammo without problem, and another 100 rounds of jhp, again with no problem. Very impressed with this pistol.

Frame to slide fitting has none or very little play and there is no rattle. The Frame's finish is excellent as it is a smooth parkerized blued, ramp is polished and comes with a bull barrel. Add the beavertail grip safety, extended mag release, a white dot dovetail sights on rear and front , a hardwood grip, a unique combat hammer and the beautiful two tone color and you get yourself an excellent concealable 1911 pistol that won't break the bank. Shoot's 2-2.5inch groups in 10-15yards, oh well, this is not a bulls-eye pistol but a concealable one and gets its job right. I would love to have a Kimber, but considering it's more than half of its price, the Metroarms Amigo is a well worth buy and truly an excellent product.

First of all product arrived on time, i took it to a range and shot a hundred rounds through it and did not have any problems. I use this gun for carrying, it is an excellent weapon and if you are looking for a carry or field gun (1911) I would highly recommend it.

Trash do not waste your money, I bought 2 one came with no mag, bersa sent me one over night, You will have to change the mags as it will lock over and over again on you, so $542 and new wilson or chip mags for $30 each and then your ok. If you cannot afford more then do the above and you will be ok. If you can spend the $$ and get a real 1911,

SWEET!!!! Wish I had been smart enough to get this one sooner! Even though it only comes with one mag, I still had to give it 5 stars. The fit and finish are not Kimber fancy, but for a half or a third of the price, it is 'ruggedly handsome'. LOL I want a shooter, not a safe queen, and this gun does shoot. This is my first 3.5 inch 1911 and I am as impressed by this 3.5 as I was when I shot my first 1911. Out of the box, inside the gun seemed dry, even a little gritty, so I wiped it down with Rem Oil and headed to the range. I fired about 200 rounds of cheap 230 grain FMJ, and 3 different JHPs (2x 185grn and a 230). Not a single gun related (FTF / FTE) issue. The factory mag (ACT) worked perfectly. I brought a MecGar and Chip McCormick 8 rounders also. Neither fit correctly, of course, but the MecGar had feed issues. The 8 round MecGar has worked perfectly in my full size 1911, so I'm sure it's just an issue in this 7 round gun. The Chip worked, and may fit 'right' after I install the S&A Arched MSH and Magwell. The sights are Novak-type 3 dot, and will do fine until I get Mepro or HiViz installed. This gun is more accurate than I am. At 15 yds (longest I could go at the indoor range), I shot fist sized groups center mass without even trying. Recoil is a little more than a full size 1911, but not bad. Compared to my polymer frame .45, this felt like a 9mm. The trigger is adjustable, but I was pleased with it out of the box, and didn't mess with it. The Filipinos could do more to 'dress up' their guns, but so long as they work, I don't mind the very poor quality, 'copy machined' owner's manual, that is illegible, one mag, and no tool included for trigger adjustment. This gun is made to shoot, and it does that VERY WELL. The only thing better than this gun, is BUD'S!!! BUD'S ROCKS!!! I had this gun on layaway for about 8 weeks, and the price went up $90 during that time, but I was 'locked in' at the lower price. The gun shipped fast, and everything worked like a well lubed machine. I've made several purchases from Bud's, and they have all been perfect. I will certainly continue to be a long term, regular, repeat, happy customer.

GREAT GUN, GREAT FOR CONCEALMENT BEAUTIFULL GUNT TO HAVE. SHOOTS GREAT NO PROBLES WITH IT AT ALL ON MY FIST 100 ROUNDS! LIKE THE 3.5IN BARREL YET IT HAS A NICE WEIGHT TO IT. EVERYTHING FITS NICE AND TIGHT THE WAY IT SHOULD. LOVE IT HIGHLY RECOMENDED. THE ONLY COMMENT I HAVE ABOUT THE GUN IS THAT THE FINISH IS STARTING TO FADE ALITTLE ON THE FRONT SIGHT FROM CARRYING IT. ALSO IT DOESENT COME WITH THE CHECKERED GRIPS IT COMES WITH SMOOTH KINDA REDWOOD GRIPS WITH THA METRO LOGO EATHER WAY I THINK IT LOOKS BETTER. BUDS GREAT SERVICE SECOND PURCHASE AND WILL CONTINUE PURCHASING HERE GREAT SERVICE!
