Okay let’s put the bad right up front. You won’t get the gun in the picture. Not that uncommon honesty. Sig now has a different grip style on the gun, with a silver “SIG” logo on it. Oddly enough the grips shown are in the Sig accessories catalog for about $70. Now to the great. The trigger is also different than shown, it’s skeletonized, and looks and functions great. The gun comes packaged in a plastic box, not very thick but better than a cardboard box. Mine was coated with a thick preservative oil. After a cleaning I put about 200 rounds of various ammunition through the provided FOUR magazines. It ate everything from all four magazines. I carry Barnes TAC-XPD which has a pretty aggressive bullet and they feed flawlessly. POI was dead center of point of aim at 25 meters but about 1-2” low. POI shifted very little shooting with my Osprey 45K. Highly recommended this gun. Honestly don’t think I will do anything to it except maybe change the grips to something with a little more bite.

I'm a 1911 guy. I have 1911 type handguns from Taurus, Kimber, Springfield, Remington, and Colt This one is by far my favorite in every way. The finish is great. The action is smooth. The trigger is crisp, and it's highly accurate. It came with 4 magazines, all of which inserted and dropped out with ease. I have 17 other magazines (most were supplied with my other 1911s) and the only ones that were problematic was a pair of cheapo's I bought years ago that get stuck in every firearm I put them in, except the Taurus. My only complaint is that it fits a little snug in all my kydex holsters as the slide profile is a bit square compared to all other 1911s I own. Even with that minor complaint, I love it.

I have wanted a 1911 for a while and the Sig TACOPS TB has exceeded my expectations! This sidearm is solid, tight, well made and buttery-smooth. It places tight groups at various ranges and I really like the way the magazine feed ramp guides the mag on quick changes. I've run several manufacturers down the barrel including S&B, Winchester, Federal and others. Never any issues with feed, fire or extract. It has a smooth trigger pull and the energy dissipation through the frame is great and it has about the same amount of recoil as my S&W M&P Shield 9mm with the obvious benefit of stopping power. I like the under rail modularity and the ability to add a can in the future if I'm ever of a mind to pay the tax stamp. Very nice, solid piece for the collection. You will not be disappointed.

I have owned this SIG 1911 TacOps TB for about two and a half years now. I stopped keeping track of my round count after I blew through the 500 mark with only one failure to eject (which turns out was probably my fault anyway). A conservative estimate would put me around 1500 rounds for this pistol now, and aside from the slide not locking back when using one of the supplied magazines, I have zero complaints. I haven't changed anything on the pistol and shoot both unsuppressed, as well as suppressed with a SilencerCo Osprey. It runs flawlessly in both configurations, and is an absolute blast when shooting suppressed. I went from a completely unreliable (though beautiful) Kimber SIS Pro, to this Sig 1911, and I would never look back! I would not hesitate to purchase this pistol again. My pistol arrived with a skeleton trigger, unlike the solid trigger in the photo. I can verify it also came with four magazines, right on Sig! For those wondering, the factory sights on this pistol clear the top of the SilencerCo 45 Osprey suppressor nicely, there is no sight obstruction.

My first Sig!!! Looks and feels great. Now I want the Tacops CARRY 1911. Great customer service from BUDS, only thing was the postal updates. I received the pistol but up until now it is still showing it just shipped = / But all in all, i would buy again from BUDS!!!!

The gun is great to shoot, the fit is very tight. I have shot about 250 rounds, not one malfunction. I was able to get between 1inch to 2 inch groups at 20 yards, way more accurate then expected. Buy this gun its awesome!
