Good ammo. I don't know what magic Hornady does to get more FPS, but it works! This ammo shoots well from my rifle and chronographs really close to the velocity shown on the box. The only downside for me is I wish the bullet was constructed a little tougher. I find Hornady bullets to be on the softer side across almost all of their offerings. With the triple 4, I'd prefer if it expanded a little less than this does for more penetration. I don't need hardcast performance, but maybe something halfway between this and hardcast.

Very accurate in CVA Scout out to 150+ yards. Have taken 5 deer with none going more than 15 yards. Can be very destructive on shoulder shots

Bud's is priced right, easy to order from, and shipping is fast on ammo. This 444 Ammo is accurate from both the 444P and 444T. So far, (2) Mule Deer Bucks, (3) Cow Elk plan to make it another Cow elk this year. It does it without making a mess of things as well. I know it sounds cliche', but the 444 drops game extremely fast with this ammo. I've killed a lot of big game over the past 35+ Yrs with a lot of different rifles/cartridges, but out to 250 yrds, the 444 just flat puts the smack down on game. I'm sure other's have had similar experiences with this and other rounds as well. Take it for what it's worth.

I've only shot a few of these but like the accuracy and mild recoil. Especially considering the knock down power of this round. Very pleased.
