The Saiga 12 Gauge Smoothbore Autoloading Shotgun is designed for professional and sport hunting and small and medium-size game under various climactic conditions. It features a 12 gauge barrel with chamber, providing for shooting shot and slugs, including magnum, with a shot shell length of 2 2/4" and 3". The shotgun is characterized by high reliability in harsh environments, and is capable of delivering single-shot fire and is reloaded automatically due to the energy of the powder gases, escaping from the barrel bore to the gas cylinder and the energy of the spring as well. This shotgun comes with a 19" barrel, 5 round magazine, and synthetic stock.

I would've gave it 3 stars, BUT I'm giving it 4 because of its potential after performing proper upgrades to get it running correctly and converting it to a pistol grip with adjustable stock. It can also run 20 round drums and is a blast to shoot. From the factory quality was less than par, but after around $500 in upgrades and l sold it and replaced it with a VEPR 12 with no regrets.

A good shotgun to own. Had to get myself one of these. It shoots OK,not flawless but it is cool and I am still glad I have one. Great riot control/home protection weapon.

A great shooting gun. it comes neutered with a plain stock and bad trigger. Put some money and work into her and she's one of the best semi-autos you can own. I've fired everything from low brass birdshot to 3" magnums. The gun runs great.

Gun is awesome. Best on the market for a reliable semi-auto shotgun. Can't beat the price here. Plus If you buy auto gas plug you can shoot cheap ammo with out any problems and without switching plugs in and out.

Awesome, very fun gun - with some pretty cheap swap out parts, this baby will eat anything you throw into it!! We'll worth the money. AK style receiver is old hat for me and is really reliable. Best auto shotgun I've ever owned. Look forward to ordering from Bud's again. Awesome honorable company!! Thanks Buds!!

Out of the box it was very clean, not too greasy as other AKS and russian guns come. Mine jams alot of walmarts federal ammo, but they make a replacement spring and gas cap for that. Its like $40 or so. Overall happy with this gun.

sweeeeeeeeeet shotgun!!!!!!!!!!! a tip for anyone that dosent want to buy all the extra parts and replace the springs so you can shoot low brass ammo, buy federal target load from where ever it has alot more kick than the other low brass stuff. i put 800 rounds through it so far and only one jam. i got a muzzle break for mine and a 12 round clip. the muzzle break does such a great job directing the sound away from me i can hear the action when it cycles. how cool is that. the only thing i will say bad about this gun it there is alot of cheap clips and parts out there and the 12 round clip i got is nowhere near the quality of the 5 round clip that came with it so careful what you buy. i plan on getting a drum mag from buds whenever they have them in stock again. thanks to buds for another great gun. ruskie guns rule!!!

Just recieved my Saga 12 and love it. Fast shipping by Buds and the E-check layaway program I used over a month was great addition and hassle free. Shipping took about 5 days from payment to tracking numbers provided. Nothing but good to say so far about buds so went ahead and purchased another firearm today. Saiga showed up in great condition, securly packed, and not a flaw on the piece. By far the lowest price I have found for the Saiga when I got it, but they are going up and getting harder to find so grab them now before they go away or become too hard to find. Taking to range soon to try this bad boy out, a little concerned of the setting of high vs low brass, but will tinker and hopefully have good results as would rather shoot some #6 shot then Buck or slug for playing.
