The new P229® Scorpion is the newest edition to the P229 Elite and features an ergonomic beavertail grip, flat dark earth finish on both the frame and the slide, front cocking serrations, front strap checkering, SIGLITE® Night Sights, Hogue Extreme G-10 grips, and the new Short Reset Trigger or SRT. SIG engineers designed the SRT to provide you the same great safety and smooth action of the SIG DA/SA with a comfortable reset that is 60% shorter for faster trigger return and surgical control during high speed shooting.

I have to say this upfront for context, I am a big fan of the SA/DA trigger and hammer fired weapons. I also believe that out of the box, SIG Sauer makes one of the best class of weapons in this configuration. Now that I got that out of the way, this weapon in the Scorpion Elite configuration is awesome aesthetically, functionally, and ergonomically!!! Whew, spelled them all right! Awesome enhanced beavertail for the Elite configuration, Siglite night sights, SRT kit factory installed, (2) 15 round magazines (made in Italy, but hey, I like Mecgar magazines). Amazing shooter, handles beautifully, and the trigger reset is sick!!!
Bud's pricing and customer service is great as always! May 2019 production date on a discontinued SIG platform, hmmmm, let's see, special run from SIG???
Love the P229 platform, and this one is over the top in the Scorpion Elite configurations! Thanks Bud's!!!
