This is a great entry level long range rifle. I bought it to complement my Remington PSS in 308. The rifle performs great for its price and I have no complaints about its accuracy.

The rifle is very accurate for a rifle that was pulled out of the box , cleaned and a scope mounted on the rail.. The feel of the rifle is also very good , it is easy to get behind this rifle on bags or bipod. The forward grip of the rifle stock fits my hands very well and the rear the same , the stock puts you in a more ready and natural shot position. The bolt cams in and out nicely and there is very little play or chatter in the bolt when loading the rifle. The trigger is nice for a factory trigger . I have my trigger set a 2 pounds .. Recoil from the rifle for me is in the area of a 30-06 the factory break does a good job at reducing recoil. The rounds I shoot from my rifle are the Hornady 270 grain ELD-X and the Berger Elite Hunter 250 grain. You can shoot the larger 300 grain out of it , it has a 1in9 twist barrel and a box mag length of 3.850. with the LOONG range stuff hand feeding the rifle will be the way to go. and as for group sizes go if I am shooting at paper @ 100 yards .5 MOA or better is average.

This is the amazing Savage 110 FCP HSP in 338 Lapua mag. Im somewhat new to Buds but i have been buying more and more things from them over other retailers. Shipping didnt take very long at all. Non-firearm products ship even faster obviously. Im very happy with the gun and with Bud's. I was really excited when i learned about the new Savage 110's in 338 lapua because how great and affordable these rifles are. Because of the $1250-1650 price point you can actually afford to buy ammo and other accessories especially if your an ordinary person with an ordinary budget. Compare that price with that of other 338 bolts like the new ruger precision and youll see what i mean. Im always really happy to rave about a product that is priced well below the competition when the product doesnt sacrifice much if any quality. The weapon is very accurate especially with good match ammo. Recoil is really light considering how light the gun is at about 11 lbs. Functions flawlessly. smooth bolt, crisp trigger. comes with an adjustable accu-trigger for those who are picky about their trigger. my trigger seems very nice right out of the box. I put a Vortex diamondback 6-24 x50 scope on it because i wanted to stay budget friendly. and dont want to spend as much or more on a scope as i did on the gun itself. vortex rings and Blue force tactical sling. I opted for the very affordable CV life bipod because i had an extra one lying around. I actually like these bipods and they cost only 15$. and there is 3 sling mounts in total so you can add all these to your stock 110 FCP. The only thing cool bout the 110 BA stealth is that you can get a folding butt stock and adjustable cheek rest. The stealth is a lil cheaper but i like the look of the FCP alot more. The only con i see people say about them is that the scope mount may need a little locktite to stay 100% rock solid. not that big of a deal to me, I locktite my scope rings and stuff usually anyways. The only other thing is the price of magazines. they are 100$ maybe a little less. Which is alot if you consider that a 10 round M82 .50 bmg mag is 150$ and is alot bigger. again not a big deal.

This gun is an absolute blast to shoot. Muzzle break performs perfectly and tames this beast. Trigger is excellent and gun shoot sub moa through 1st 20 rounds. Stock is very nice and the action is extremely rigid in the stock. Remember to blue Loctite the scope rail as it will rattle loose. I was able to get this at a super discount from Bud's and their service is second to none. Shipped and received within 3 days of purchase. The negative: The chamber is pretty long for this rifle and the magazine does not allow for reloading a COAL close to the lands with VLD bullets. The closest I can get to the lands is 0.08" with Berger 250 gr adnn 350 gr VLD's. Gun is shooting great, but would like to have the ability to play with COAL a little to get as much as I can out the rifle.
