This shotgun was bad from the get-go. Double feeds and failure to load constantly. The bolt would get stuck in the rear position and you would have to bump it with your hand to get it to close. I cleaned it twice with no joy. It was then sent to Mossberg and came back EXACTLY the same. I took it to a local gunsmith and he was unable to get it to operate correctly. I finally was lucky enough to trade for a Benelli plus some cash. I may have paid more for a Benelli Nova than anyone in existence, but at least a have a gun that works and perfectly at that too.

Good shotgun, didn't function reliably with target loads at first. Had to run a bunch of full power loads to break it in and then it was working smoothingly. Overall im satisfied with the gun

Excellent for the price! Fairly rugged with no bells or whistles and the 2 barrel option is a huge plus! It comes with stock spacers and 3 chokes as extras. Lightweight and reliable. It took a while to get here (ordered 12/28/11, arrives 1/11/12) but i'm a patient person. I'll blame the holidays and the electronic debit process... No fault of Buds. This is my 3rd gun purchased from Buds and there WILL be more.

Ordered on 7/5/2011 with the electronic check as payment. Delivered to my FFL in Ohio on 7/12/2011. Took it home, fully stripped it, cleaned it up and lightly lubricated it before taking it to the range. This shotgun is great! I haven't owned a semi-automatic shotgun before, so I was a bit leery as to its reliability with various ammunition. I have not used the 28" barrel yet, but the 18.5" barrel has eaten everything perfectly I've fed it with zero hiccups. I've run only 2 3/4" ammunition - Hornady TAP low-recoil (#8626) and full power (#8627) 00 buckshot, Federal Tru-Ball low-recoil (PB127 LRS) and full power (PB127 RS) slugs, Brenneke K.O. (SL-122KO) slugs, Federal Tactical (LEF127 RS) slugs, Federal Target loads (#8 birdshot). The only think I can complain about was losing one screw out of the top of the receiver, where a scope mount woud go. Too many rounds put through it in one range session and a screw backed out and fell out of the shotgun. Just a "cosmetic" screw - nothing that performs a real function. Easily replaced by the local gunsmith, though. (And I called Mossberg about it; they're sending me some more screws, just in case it happens again.) Hey, I'm a 5' 2", 130 pound guy. This shotgun was pretty tame with all those different loads.... and pretty easy to keep on target for fast follow up shots. It's definitely easier on the shoulder than my pump Remington 870 - 12 gauge, but that should go without saying. I highly recommend it!

Great gun! Excellent transaction! This shotgun performs flawlessly with any ammo fed into it. The only ammo that will not cycle is ammo below 1100fps. Thanks Bud's!!
