I bought this rifle just because Windham was going out of business. Wanted to get one before they dried up. It is a decent rifle for the novice AR buyer. For the experienced builder it is just ok. It really is just something that a company assembled from parts with their logo. Took to the range and the sights had to be adjusted quite a bit to get a 50 yard zero. The castle nut is not staked. It also is very undergassed. Will not cycle russian steel cased ammo. I didn't get any stuck cases though. Cycles brass full power just fine with cases ending up at 0430 position. The buffer is a standard 3 ounce buffer, so ya kinda stuck with it being undergassed. Unless I was to pull the Front Sight Base and open up the gas port. If you are looking to buy your 1st AR and plan on shooting brass 5.56, this is perfect gun for you. Or you can build one just like it (without the chrome lined barrel) for half the price.

Really nice AR. Over all Really nice quality have over 200 rounds no feed issues or ejection just eats up the rounds like candy! Nice finish nice and solid gun and breaking the rifle down to clean is Vary easy quick and simple plus u get a vary nice high quality pretty big case the rifle comes in free all together you can't go wrong very good deal!

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this or any Windham rifle. Fit and finish were excellent out of the box and after countless rounds, I've never experienced any type of failure. For the price and features, I'd stack this up against Colt, Aero or any of the big manufacturers any day. If you're looking for a stock, m4 style rifle, this should be on the list. Buds was a pleasure to do business with as always and the rifle arrived at my local FFL dealer within 2 days.

I've had this rifle for several years now. It is a very accurate rifle, for an AR. It always cycles and I have never had a failure to eject or feed. Very nice rifle.

Excellent rifle, no movement between the upper and lower.. both top and bottom match perfectly. The only thing that you would need to replace is the magazine that it came with . At least mine needed replacement
