OUTSTANDING !!! Dead Eye Zeroed 50' Small Hands, Big Gun. Zen and The Art of HandGun Familiarization / Qualification
Cures all Firearm reflex quirks. Smooth, Steady, Soft when you break through. no other pistol i shoot comes close in confidence, reliability, accuracy, comfort. It is my Concealed Carry Weapon, empty chamber, 10 rounds Colt Solid Copper Hollow Point in magazine. my 50 year old experience/ superstition. no "Cocked and Locked". 13 + 1 is really cramming it. backup is XD MOD.2 3". 10 magazines. "Be Prepared".
my other Love to Shoot is Springfield Armory Mil Spec 1911 made in 2011. I am a True Believer.

I have owned a S&W Model 1006 for 25 years it has been my favorite shooter and round to shoot the 10mm is just the best IMO.I have purchased many XD's I feel they are superior to the Glock. As a student of Gun Site we used the Glock extensively and its a good pistol. If they were to improve the Glock it would be the XDm. Also how many other Pistols could do as well as the XDm in 10mm with the same 10,000 round torture test without a single malfunction. Truly the best pistol and caliber combo available.

This is a very accurate shooting handgun! A firesight type front sight and a nice fully adjustable U notch rear sight perform admirably. Ammunition type does not seem to matter, all have fired when the trigger is pulled. Quality, fit, and finish are very good. The only thing that would make this pistol better is that it be Made in the U.S.A.! Accessory pack and case that come with the gun contains all useable items, not cheapo throwouts. 3 mgazines, 2 extra backstraps for sizing grip to your hand, a quick release competition holster and competition mag holder are included. The price on this deal is the best by far that I found.

This is my second Springfield and my first ever 45 acp, This is one nice gun. The trigger is just right and the sights are easily adjustable so I don't have any excuse for missing and the 13 round magazine gives me plenty of reserve. This pistol came in the big plastic box with three magazines and the holster, mag holster, loader and the usual lock. It also came with two extra inserts for the grip just in case you want it to feel a little different in your hand than it comes. I have already been shooting bowling pins and it does the job very well. Buds got my purchase on the road in a reasonable amount of time. And more important their was a mixup on another part of the order by Buds and they made it right with no unpleasantness. With this combination of good products and good service I am sure I will keep on being a Buds gun shop customer.

This is my first Springfield pistol. My main pistols are all 1911 's , The first thing I noticed when I got the Springfield was how light it is. due to polymer frame, which does take some getting used to after steel 1911's . The adjustable sights and fiber optic front sight are really nice, and make for fast aiming. I have to shoot with bifocals and doing so has it's problems. The gun does shoot very accurately, I also can add that I have only shot reloads in it and have shot hardball, lead semi wad cutters, and hollow points and have not had a FTF or a FTE, with around 200 rounds fired. Another plus I have found with the gun that has not been the case with most other pistols I have had is that it is well fitted, as there is now ware on the barrel from slide contact as the gun cycles, there is a slight bit of ware on the top of the chamber from slide contact, but very little. I don't know that this will change as the gun get's fired more, but so far it has shown to be well put together. There is also no slide play to the frame, very tight. I would recommend this pistol to someone looking for a polymer frame gun. I had owned and sold a FNH FNX which is similar to this gun, but as noted it has been sold the Springfield will remain in my safe.

Great firearm, great price, and awesome service. Got the firearm earlier than expected. Took it to the range and a VERY accurate pistol. Love the grip versus the competitor. Able to consistently hit soda cans at 25 yards (standing) is enough accuracy for me. Shot hand loads, white box factory loads, hollow points all feed well.

First, let me say that Bud's service/delivery was excellent as always. However - and I hate to rain on the XDM 5.25 parade - my experience with this pistol has been far from satisfactory. In the first 500 rounds, I had 14 failures to go into battery. Fourteen. That's about 14 more than I have ever had with Glocks in calibers from 9 through 10mm. Additionally, the "loaded chamber indicator" broke at 300 rounds. I sent it back to Springfield a few weeks ago, and I have been informed by SA that they have been unable to duplicate the problem in the three magazines they put through it. They have repaired the loaded chamber indicator and are sending it back. I will give it another chance, but as of now I do not trust it as anything other than a range gun where malfunctions are annoying but not critical. For defensive purposes and CCW, I will stick to Glocks. Perhaps my experience is unusual with the XDM 5.25 in 45ACP. If I were you and thinking of perhaps buying this gun, I would do some research on its problems. Google is your friend.

I cannot say enough good things about budsgunshop.com. I recently made my first online firearm purchase through them. They were extremely helpful and i recieved this beautiful xdm 5.25 .45 fast and cheap. I have searched and searched and you will not beat their price. This gun is like butter right out of the box. I have had it for 2 weeks and have put almost 500 rounds through it and couldnt be happier. 3 inch groupings at 20 yards everytime and i am no competition shooter. If you are thinking about buying this gun, DO IT!!! Worth every penny. Every time i visit the range i am gawked at by everyone there. Thanks bud's!!!!

    It's still listed on SA's website, but it doesn't look like buds is anticipating getting them back in stock. And they are out of stock everywhere. Not sure if discontinued or just not being produced right now.
