Bud's service was fine, as typical. After cleaning and tightening screws, I was disappointed that the gun did not come bore sighted. In fact, it shot several feet from point of aim with factory 150 gr FMJ. After bore sighting, which required significant adjustment, I sighted in. Best groups from the bench at 100 yd were 5-6" with a variety of factory loaded ammo. Certainly not what one typically hears about their rifles (see AR Jan 15). Wrote to Savage and am hopeful that they will remedy this.

Great rifle Small and light weight easy to carry great shooter. Great for the young and old Person. Scope makes the Rifle a Deadly Combo.

Great Service from Buds. This is the third rifle I have bought from Buds, and I have had no problems with any of them. The youth model 11 from Savage looks pretty cheap with the plastic stock, but I can't believe how accurate this rifle is. I cleaned it, shot 4 factory rounds through it to sight it in, and then shot 2 different sub MOA groups with 2 different hand loads (125 and 180 gr nosler ballistic tips). That is pretty good out of the box accuracy.
