For a cheap firearm, it is decent. The trigger is horrible. You need to either replace the spring or buy an aftermarket trigger. You are probably better off buying an Axis II or other model bc of the trigger. The stock is cheap plastic, but adequate for a youth firearm. It worked for my kids after a trigger and scope change. The scope is not good and will probably need to be changed if you are willing to let your kids take middle range shots. Bc of this, you may want to not get a scoped model. I paid $300 when I purchased mine and it came with a coupon for a free adult stock. The gun is worth that with the knowledge that you will have to do something with the trigger and scope. If I had it to do over, I would’ve probably purchased a different model, but I am not really disappointed in the purchase.

I have had this little rifle for about a year now, and it's everything I'd hoped it would be. Accuracy is about 2-3" size groups @100yds from a bipod, using 62g off the shelf loads. For this rifle, I found the 62g bullets to be a little more accurate than the standard 55g bullets. This is good enough for training purposes for the young men, boys and women who have used it. The youth stock is great for young and small stature shooters......and is comfortable for myself, too! (I'm 5'9"). The scope is good enough, but I replaced it with a better scope. Recoil is minimal with the 5.56x45, or .223 cartridge. I am satisfied with this purchase, and would recommend it for training new shooters.

I bought this for my son. It's a pretty good package. I'm not too crazy about the plastic magazine latch but the stock is better than I heard about. I switched the trigger spring because the factory spring is to heavy. It shoots great and I like it alot. Minus one star for the plastic latch but still a great buy.

I hate to admit it, but it turned out to be a really good shooting rifle. I purchased this rifle in .223 for my kids becasue it was about the cheapest one out there and I liked it so much much I just ordered one in .243. Its not fancy, but it shoots good and feels good.

Nice rifle with a decent scope. I bought this for my daughter to get her used to shooting center-fire rounds. She has no problems shooting this rifle. For value I highly recommend this rifle.
