It took longer to receive than I had hoped! But that was my fault. I ordered the Firearm on a weekend and chose to pay by money order not knowing I could still get the discount with my credit card. Once they received my payment, My FFL Dealer received it in a timely manner. They are great on price, customer service and Quality. This Metro Arms American Classic is every bit as nice in looks, quality and accuracy as the Stainless Remington That a friend paid over $900 for. I have owned one of these before which made this purchase an easy choice. Haven't taken it to the range yet but I look forward to it. Only issue I've had is the barrel lug won't rotate fully for disassembly.

I bought the Duo-tone 5" in .45acp. Service was great and received the gun in the advertised time frame. The fit and finish are fantastic. I have have about 230 rounds through it now in the two weeks I've had it. I was very discouraged at the fact the first 200 rounds were 3.5-4" right of Point Of Aim (even rested on the bench) a trip to the gun smith to adjust both front and rear sights fixed that and now it's dead on. One thing that was puzzling is my friend bought the same gun in the deep blue model but the recoil spring in his feels like a 14# (and much softer shooting) where as mine I had to wrestle the slide back (fully lubed) and it feels like 18# or more. I will be changing out to a 14# very soon to flatten it out and take some of the nasty rearward snap it has now. Secondly I've heard many people give the ACT mag high praise, but I got a failure to go into battery weather loaded at 8 or 7 rounds (using both sling-shot and slide release lever) maybe I got a dud,but I bought some Kimber 8 round KimPro Tac-Mags and they work flawlessly. Note: the Chip McCormick Mag did not match up with mag release. All in all, exceptional gun--worth the money.

I love this pistol! I put several hundred rounds through it and it accurate and has performed great once I got rid of the original magazine.. I did have some problems with the magazine that came with the gun as it would not feed properly. I also discovered not all magazines would fit the weapon. Once I started using check mate mags. it worked great!! I would recommend this to anyone that is interested in a reasonably priced 1911. Fit and finish are beautiful!!

I bought this gone right before Christmas and everyone is buying guns right now at a very fast pace evenwith all the business going on Buds got the gun out on the time they said. I just put about a 100 rounds through this today and it was awesome. Very accurate and no jams. the only thing I don't like it scratches easy when trying to put pin back in after taking apart to clean but overall I love this gun. I have bought 3 guns from Buds and am very satisfied. I will be buying more.
