The grip panels are checkered and ribbed for comfortable, no-snag carry. Two interchangeable backstrap inserts quickly adapt the FNX™ to your hand size. The profiled stainless steel slide has cocking serrations front and rear, and the 4-inch cold hammer-forged, stainless steel barrel delivers pinpoint accuracy. Great handgun! Just received and the fit, finish, and handling are better than I expected. This is my first FN product to own, but it won't be my last. Buds did a great job from order (Dec 31st 2012) to my picking up my new FNX-9 (Jan 5th 2013).
