The FNX™-45 is the result of years of innovative product development and advanced engineering techniques. Modeled after the FNP™-45 service pistol introduced in 2007 under the U.S. Joint Combat Pistol Program, the FNX™-45 is a double-action/single-action hammer-driven pistol with highly enhanced ergonomics. Its manual safety/decocking levers, slide stop lever and magazine release are all fully ambidextrous for ease of operation with either hand and from any firing position. Both the slide and barrel are stainless steel. The FNX™-45’s checkered polymer frame has multiple interchangeable backstraps with lanyard eyelets. A MIL-STD 1913 mounting rail on the underside accepts tactical lights and lasers. Includes (2) 15rd mags.

I purchased this gun with the need for a high capacity .45acp in single/double action setup. This gun is everything that's advertised and then some. Smooth action, out of the box accuracy that was second to none. It is a high quality high end firearm. It was not as bulky or cumbersome as I was expecting in a full size gun. Although its a little heavy with 16 rounds to carry, its very manageable. The felt recoil is less than expected in a polymer framed firearm shooting .45acp I imagine in part due to the great ergonomics it has. I was trying to stay away from striker fired and went with hammer fired for a cocked and locked option, and this delivers quite nicely. I am extremely satisfied with this gun and as well as the transaction with Budsgunshop.com.

Awesome pistol. Great capacity and very soft shooter. Shoots like a nine mil. Very manageable recoil for a 45 and fn reliability. Tough to beat.

Seems to be very sturdy, haven’t shot it yet, love the mag capacity, love the sights, not really in love with the polemer safety because it is a bit spongey, but other than that, I’m sure I will get great service from this pistol. So 4 stars for the pistol and 5 for Buds (quick and easy)

I love this FN gun the recoil is pretty light for a 45...it feels like your shooting a 9mm...I would recommend this gun for anybody who open carries like police officers security armored car drivers bodyguards etc this is one of the highest capacity 45.

Love this gun. Hands down my favorite 45 acp handgun. Kinda reminds me of Robocop's gun lol. The bi tone look with stainless steel slide and black polymer grip is one very pleasing combo to the eyes. Even though I have sort of small hands this large gun still fits well in my hand. It holds 15 + 1 rounds of 45 acp which is far more than any other 45 auto handgun I have ever owned. To my knowledge the only other 45 handgun that holds more is a Mac-10 with a 30 round capacity of 45 acp. This gun is the best combination of looks, functionality, ammo capacity, and stopping power I have ever experienced in any handgun. My new personal favorite handgun in my rather large collection. Highly recommend this gun!

Excellent gun, very accurate, only about 100 rounds thru it so far a couple of days after receiving it from Buds and no jamming. The only down side is if you have small hands, the double stack mags makes the grip a little wide to hold.

BIG BIG GUN! Love it! I always like a gun that is larger and really fills the hand. The grips are a little aggressive and can hurt a bit when shooting, but a sleeve over them worked out perfectly. Needs some break in period, but after 300 rounds, runs amazing, and you can beat the capacity and the deal for 3 15 round mags.

    Crisp and smooth, I have the tactical model in .45. It feels a lot like an H&K, but doesn't cost as much. It takes about the same effort as any other DA/SA I've had.
