A smart looking, small handgun built with the same accuracy and reliability as large frame SIG SAUER pistols. With an overall length of just 5.5 inches a height of 3.96 inches, and weighing just 15.2 ounces, the SIG SAUER P238 is the ultimate firepower in an all metal frame concealed pistol. The P238 is built on an anodized alloy beavertail style frame with blackwood grips for comfort and a secure hold during rapid-fire usage. The stainless steel slide features the popular trademarked SIG SAUER slide serrations, corrosion resistant Nitron finish and SIGLITE® Night Sights.

This is the Blackwood model and not the Equinox pictured. This is my fourth 238, I liked all of the others but I am left handed and wanted an ambi safety. I would buy one and keep it awhile and then tire of the safety and sell it and then after a while knowing it was a great pocket pistol would buy another. The ambi safety makes it a great little back-up or carry for when I don't feel like wearing a holster and carrying a 1911. As with the other three it works perfectly and shoots every time. The new safety works as it should and has a very positive feel. This is a finely crafted pistol and the quality shows, there is no comparison to the cheap plastic 380's on the market. If you like quality guns you won't be sorry you picked up this little Sig.
