• Q: Other than this being a little bit longer, is there any reason that his can't be used for home defense? First time gun buying looking for a home defense gun but something that is also good at the range. Is this a good purchase or should i consider a different 930 model like the spx?

  Of course it can. I know I wouldnt want to be looking at a 12G barrel. You will be fine with this model and the Miculek model shoots great. Can hunt dove, duck, geese, turkey....shoot skeet and most of all protect your family.
