Quality through and through. Beautiful wood, which I've come to expect from CZ. Accurate as well. This gun has been remodeled since my purchase. So the new one has some changes

Very accurate at 75 yard after zeroed the scope. Very low recoil. 1/2 inch groups.

This is a great rifle. Wood is walnut and nicely finished. Bluing is perfect. This is an "old school" target rifle for those who can't afford an Anschutz. As usual, Bud's was great; Good price and fast delivery. Very happy with my purchase.

The fit and finish on the CZ455 Varmint I received from Bud's was outstanding. I didn't win the beautiful wooden stock lottery with this one, but it does have some character, and is pleasing to the eye. I'm a big fan of CZ's, but was disappointed with the out of the box accuracy this one displayed. After pillaring and bedding the stock, and putting an 11 degree target crown on the muzzle, it's showing a great deal of improvement. I learned from the CZ gurus on Rimfire Central, that I would have to shoot several hundred rounds through the rifle, before it would settle in, and become a true tackdriver.

Just purchased the above CZ 455 V in 17HMR.... What a pleasure to shoot. Gun right out of box was shooting sub moa at 100yds on flat days. Trigger had a little bit of grit at first but cleaned up after about 50 rounds. Mounted a Weaver V16 and shot Hornady's 20 gr Vmax.... A real tack driver. Wood was EXCELLENT. Clean finish with nice marble look in grain.
