exactly what I expected. I wanted a pistol for my car that could sit for long periods of time in a center console and be very reliable if needed (no jams). This revolver fit the situation. It has a hell of a kick, so I practice with mostly 38SP but some 357. I'm sure I won't notice the kick if I ever have to use it for protection.

Dandy little CCW revolver. Accurate as it needs to be and as expected in a snubby. Fit/finish are very nice and has a smooth action. Good SA trigger.

I bought this gun from Buds many years ago. My wife carries it in her vehicle and shoots 38 special out of it. Very accurate, and soft to shoot with the lighter rounds. She carries 9mm in her purse for higher capacity. Great shooting gun, and is beautiful to look at. We have had 0 issue with this weapon, and we love it. Thanks to Bud's the transfer was quick and smooth.

I got this for the wife as a carry gun when hiking. She has only fired .38 special from it and that is all the recoil she wants to handle. It has been totally reliable and adequately accurate.

This little Rossi is a fine, well-made gun. But, it just doesn't fit my hand. The trigger guard extends lower and is situated closer to the grip than in other snub-nose revolvers. The result is, for me, that the middle knuckle of my middle finger gets a hard whack with each shot. It actually caused a bruising that remained painful for an extended period of time. Two cohorts who were shooting with me on that first day experienced no similar problem. But, before making a purchase, I think it would be wise to actually hold the weapon as you would when shooting to see how it might impact your knuckle. With that as a caveat, the gun is well made, well finished, and easily concealed. The stainless is highly polished and looks great. In my opinion, this Rossi makes an excellent concealed/back-up piece and should definitely get the job done.
