I waited before writing this review, as I prefer to use the product for some time to make the review not about a “new product out of the box,” but rather on a product that has been to the range numerous times. Getting straight to the point - Yes, I very much like the Mossberg 590T Flex and would recommend it. The Mossberg 590T Flex looks great, it always gets noticed at the range. More importantly however it does exactly what it’s supposed to do every single time - fire when the trigger is pulled and rack correctly for the next shot. I have shot multiple brands of ammo in both Bird Shot as well as 00 Buck flawlessly with no issues whatsoever. It actually has never jammed. The trigger has been consistent and smooth. The grip and material on forearm has secured feel to it, even with wet hands and you probably won’t even want an aftermarket grip. It comes with two pre-drilled holes on top for attaching a Picatinny rail, allowing you then mount a red dot, light or other accessories. I did this myself and would recommend it. As much I like the Mossberg 590T Flex, there is one thing worth mentioning. The forearm feels a little too loose for my taste. It has a wobble that allows it to easily rotate and twist, sometimes making it feel flimsy or cheap. I wish this had better fit or less play, but again it has never failed to rack. Summary - Get it. Mount a Picatinny rail and nice red/green dot, one that can handle the recoil of a12 gauge. Mount a Limesaver recoil pad (it will make a big difference on your shoulder). And have fun at the range.

Excellent for home defense

Couldnt be happier. For a first shotgun, as well as first Mossberg it left me with great expectations for the next one of this brand. Yes definitely going w another Mossberg.

Just picked it up and the feel of is nice only fired a few rounds because i was in a time crunch and wanted to get a few down range asap as a test. So far i love it and you can never go wrong with a mossberg

I will say not only is this a great gun but Buds had a great price. Its a Mossberg you can't go wrong and the ease of the stock and forend change is out of this world. The gun was shipped quickly and it was exactly what I ordered. I will be buying from buds again.

I just received my 590 Flex Tactical and am happy with the gun. I have other shotguns for other purposes including a 500 . I also received several accessories to build a grab-and-go, SHTF, home defense system. Here are my likes and dislikes. Likes: Rugged and dependable, no change in design or parts over the years. The matte finish is thick and rough and makes for a good grip anywhere on the gun. The Flex system works well and feels solid. I ordered a pistol grip and standard stock and extended butt plate, all swap easily. 8 1 capacity...oh yeah. UTG tactical stock is nice. Very dark and intimidating looks. Dislike: This is the only issue I have with the gun. The forend is adequate but doesn't lend itself to adding accessories easily. The rails are capped on the back end so you can't attached anything that extends past the end of a rail. I had to Dremel a bit to attach my AFG-1. A standard TacStar side saddle doesn't work either because the rear of the forend doesn't allow full travel without bumping the saddle plate. Again Dremel solves the problem. The pressure pad feature is a joke as no pad will fit inside and allow the cover to secure, I'll fab my own cover. All in all, out of the box, I give it a 4. Accessorizing friendliness, a 3.

Good as it gets people. Do not hestitate on this one day classic American gun.

Ordered mine on a Sunday night; got it Thursday evening. Buds, as always, was great to deal with. I really appreciate the level of service they provide. The gun is sweet looking...the action seems smooth. I haven't shot it yet but, for the money, this is an extremely versatile shotgun platform and will cater to whatever need you are trying to fulfill.

Shotgun is beautiful and shoots great. Recommend to anyone wanting a tactical home defense weapon.
