When it comes to getting one of the best rifles made, it doesn't get much better than a Tikka rifle, and when it comes to accuracy, the Tikka T3 TAC is in a class of its own. The free floating barrel is made of match grade Cr-Mo steel, and manufactured by a precision cold hammer forging process by Sako craftsmen. The action and the barrel surfaces are Manganese phosphatized for lasting protection against the elements and wear. The barrel features protected muzzle threading, providing attachment for optional Sako muzzle brake or suppressor assembly.

This has got to be the smoothest cycling gun I have ever fired. Great balance. One inch groups are not uncommon out to 200 yards with factory ammo. This is my new favorite rifle, it's so enjoyable to shoot. Can't say enough about Bud's process and service. Great!

Smooth and very accurate. The bolt action is so smooth as compared to my other 308 rifles I own. I did the proper break-in with 20 rounds. I did the proper cleaning before returned to the range. I use a 16X scope. I shot three rounds. The holes were not only touching but it was hard to see that they didn't all go through the same hole. I had my friend verify that it was three holes because I was not expecting such great accuracy. Very fine rifle and Bud’s was a pleasure to deal with.
