HK's P30 is a modern police and security pistol that combines function and safety. Ergonomic features include a special grip frame with interchangeable backstrap inserts and lateral plates, allowing the pistol to be individually adapted to any user. The frame also has a Picatinny rail molded into the front. Its slide is one-piece machined from nitro-carburized steel with a corrosion resistant blued finish. The P30 utilizes ambidextrous dual slide and magazine release levers, and extractor which doubles as a loaded chamber indicator, and polygonal bore profile. This V3 S model has an ambidextrous safety/rear decocking button, spurred hammer, polymer recoil absorber "stop" bushing, and night sights. Included are two backstraps, lateral grip plates, and two 13-round magazines.

This H&K 40 S&W is one fine shooting pistol right out of the box , the grip feels fine plus changing the backstrap for someone with a smaller grip was easy to do ,,, thanks BUDS

This H&K P30 is one of the most ergonomic handguns made. Everything is right where it should be, the controls are easy to operate, and it feels great in your hand. It's a wonderful gun.

I have not been to the range yet. but the HK p30s 40 Cal. is all I expected to be. fits nice in my hand with the changeable grips. nice sights illuminates. I'm overall happy with the buy.

This is an very good looking firearm at a really decent price. This variant does have a safety, which I realize many don't like in a DA/SA pistol, but I actually prefer it. I haven't shot it yet, but can say the feel, fit, and finish are outstanding. Definitely a great buy, and the promptness of delivery was outstanding - especially given the current state of Covid-19 Panic that is sweeping the nation.
