Unfortunately, the pin to retain the grip was smaller than the one on the factory grip. I ended up re-using the factory pin after shortening it with a cut-off wheel on a dremel tool. Other than that, the gripworks great, it's definately more comfortable than the factory boot grip that came with my 856.

I can't say enough good things about this profuct. The factory grip only had 2 finger spots on the grip. It made the gun feel very unbalanced in your hand and shooting felt very awkward. The Hogue Rubber Monogrip completely changed the feel of my Taurus 85. It's very simple to install, took around 5 to 10 minutes. The balance feels great now. It feels like a completely different gun when shooting. It has 3 fingers slots on the grip, which makes it feel more natural in your hand. Well worth the price.

This Hogue Rubber Monogrip was installed on my EDC Taurus model 85 Snubbie revolver. It made a HUGE difference in feel and controllability of this weapon. Worth every penny.
