I purchased this firearm mainly because of the price. After about 500 rounds something "broke" and the trigger will not release and the hammer will not close. I contacted EAA and discovered that they not only require you to pay to ship the gun to them, but also require a check/money order/CC number for a $20 fee to return the gun. I contacted Bud's and, as always, their customer service did a super job. They provided me with a shipping label to return the gun to EAA. Once EAA received the firearm, I heard nothing for over a week. When I contacted them, they stated that they did not show any form of payment for the return shipment (the aforementioned $20). I asked if they were going to contact me about that or just let the gun sit in Florida. The person I spoke with, although very nice, did not seem to be able to "do" much to find out what was going on. She did not know if the gun had been repaired, and did not know if and/or when they would have contacted me about the $20 dollar return shipping charge. I gave her my CC info and asked if I could get a confirmation email or phone call when the gun ships back. No, they don't do that.

Bottom line, I will NEVER purchase a firearm through EAA again. What sorry customer servive.

Again, no issue with Buds - they did a great job as usual.

I'll start off by saying I'm not the biggest fan of polymer frame guns. In fact, this is the first I've owned. I am, though, quite familiar with all of the major handgun models out there as I spent a long time working gun shows and really getting hands-on with the used trade-ins in the hotel at night. This is, by far, the best handgun I am aware of at this price point. Beyond that, I also have a genuine CZ 75B to compare it to, as well as another Sarsilmaz. I went into this very skeptical, and wrote off my investment as an out-and-out gamble. Boy, did I hit the jackpot.

This is a polymer frame clone of the famous CZ 75B. The frame itself has embedded milled steel components everywhere they are needed, and has steel slide rails machined as a part of larger components. The frame is also reinforced around the areas the steel frame parts were inserted. I could find no functional or design defect with Sarsilmaz's implementation of the polymer frame. The only annoyance is the large amount of advertising cast into the frame. The grip has an aggressive texture and is true to shape as a CZ 75B, though slightly thinner than CZ 75B stock grips. Unlike the CZ, this B6P does not come with the slide and spring broken in from the factory, and it takes racking it a few hundred times to polish up the contact surfaces.

The trigger has a little grit to it which is improving with use. Likewise, the safety is hard to engage with your thumb, but easy to disengage. Both are also improving with time. The lockup isn't perfect, but on par with CZ with .002-.003 inch slop, just enough for good reliability but not so much as to cause premature wear. The bore diameter comes out to .3562", a little on the large size, but still acceptable as I shoot my own cast lead at .357". I would not recommend .355" plated bullets for this diameter.

Magazines drop free, and CZ 75B magazines will work if approximately .05" of material is carefully sanded from the bottom of the grip. The factory magazine is slightly taller and the locking notch is cut slightly higher, but equidistant from the top of the mag compared to a CZ mag. By removing the material, the CZ mag is able to go in enough to lock, and doesn't impede slide travel.

Features I'd like to see added are a loaded chamber indicator and fluorescent sight paint, as well as a true .355" bore. Thus far, the gun is just as accurate as a real CZ 75B (that is to say, very accurate), perfectly reliable and shows no signs of slowing down. The quality in this one is on par with that in my Sarsilmaz K2 .45, which is on par with my CZ 75B. You will still have the increased recoil, top-heaviness and front-heaviness that comes with all polymer handguns.

This was my first purchase from Bud's. No issues and was delivered in about a week. So far, after about 200 rds, I love this pistol. I picked up two additional 16 rd round magazines from Buds as well, about $25 ea. CZ75b mags also work.

Pistol is just as accurate as my M&P and I feel the sight acquisition is better than the M&P (for me, IMO) resulting in tighter groups. I'm no pro but the trigger seems smooth with a nice break.

Bottom line... Great gun for sub $300. Magazines are available and affordable. I find myself reaching for the SAR at the range over my M&P. Very happy with purchase.

Let's see how I feel after 2k rds.

Another excellent experience with Bud's. I have become a repeat buyer and i always check this site before a firearms purchase. This SAR B6P is a bargin/steal at the price offered. The gun weight, balance, accuracy and round count make this an great addition to any collection. No problems out of the box and flawless function after 500 rounds. I own more expensive 9mm handguns but this one performs and handles as good as any. highly recommended.

Finally got to take this 9 to the range. I haven't fired a 9mm auto in more than 20 years. I didn't have much cash, and so this one looked attractive, given what I read about it. Bought it for an amazing price from Bud's, got the usual splendid service, and later picked up 3 extra mags. The mag that came with the weapon will only hold 16, but the others I have purchased work just fine with 17. So today I loaded up 51 rounds of reload ammo in 3 clips, and 8 rounds each of Hornady Critical Defense and Hornady Custom Hollowpoint in the 4th, and headed for my local outdoor range. I got a spot on the 15 yard line and popped in 17 rounds of reload ball ammo. Within 3-4 shots, I knew I had a marvelous shooter in my hands! Once I got adjusted to the sight picture, I began placing aimed shots in and around the 10 ring, with quick follow-ups still scoring hits. I went through the first 34 rounds with no ftfs and no jams. Then I popped in the clip with my high priced ammo. Again, flawless feed, flawless performance, and rounds hitting with lethal accuracy. Finished with 17 more reloads...perfect performance. The SAR B6P is my new best friend! It is intuitive to operate and shoot, easy to aim and handle, and absolutely deadly accurate. Most importantly, it goes bang every time I pull the trigger, and thus far handles any type ammo I feed it. It comes apart with no tools (other than the butt of a clip) and thus is very easy to clean. I look forward to spending many years with this sweet shootin' 9!
