Great entry price for a AR10 to barbie up for a new shooter. Will need some knowledge to remove gas block but a good eye and some practice is easy

This Gun works flawlessly. I have never had a misfire or hang up. I would recommend open sights, it's hard to get back on site once this thing recoils.

if your a collector well then great I get it, your on top of your game in the know,
But if your just a regular Lunchbox Joe on a budget or just want to get your moneys worth without
the fuss of buying until you find the right ONE, look no more, this is your "all-around" rifle,
high quality, durable and most definitely accurate, it's hard to beat guys,
in fact I haven't had this type of satisfaction from a Rifle purchase or any other in many many years,
you will definitely get more than what your pay for with the S&W M&P 10 .308 !!!

I purchased this product based on many positive online reviews (Nutn Fancy Project) and the 5R rifling. After having it for about 6 month nows, I have mixed feelings about it. I don't shoot match ammo, but I have put some fairly decent rounds through this. I'm just not getting the accuracy that I would like. Now, maybe that is just me and not the rifle. This is my first .308, and I did have to adjust to the amount of recoil and blast. I put a new full length hand guard on it, and installed an adjustable gas block as well. I'd like to put a new trigger in, but I haven't done it yet. I think a drop in AR-15 one will work, but there is a third pin in the factory setup that I'm not sure how to handle upon removal. I have also installed a brake, but have not shot with it yet. I am hopeful it will reduce the recoil, but I hear the blast is pretty bad with a brake. I already have hearing damage, so not sure this will be a long term solution. I did put on a new Magpul stock and then added a thick, slip-on recoil pad. Much more comfortable to shoot. That factory butt stock with that thin pad was brutal. I literally could NOT make it through the 100 rounds I brought for my first range session. Got to about 80 or so, and had to call Uncle. Hurt. So, not sure how much time I'll spend with this rifle in the long run. I enjoy target shooting, but don't know if this is the right setup for me. It is certainly a powerful rifle, but I have yet to find the accuracy that so many have commented on. I'm getting maybe 3", 5-shot groups at 100 yards. This is off a bipod on a bench with 147 gr surplus ammo. I'll probably go up to the 160 gr plus ammo and spend some money to see how she does, and swap that trigger out. It's a bit heavy for sure.

This was my first gun purchase with BGS. They seem to be the best prices for firearms. The shipping is a little slow taking a little over a week from submitting order to delivery at FFL. However, I may be just a little impatient. The quality of the product is as expected from the manufacturer. The rifle shot great. Only put maybe 50 rounds through it out to 50 yards. Less than an inch group at fifty yards with a magnified scope. Had zero malfunctions. And I only shot steel case wolf ammo. Great rifle. Very happy with purchase.

Love this rifle. Fit and finish is great. Ambi features make life easier for this lefty. Its light weight and accpets Magpul products for mil spec buffer tubes and mid-length gas system. Radian Raptor SD for AR10/SR25 dropped right in with no alterations.
