• Q: I realize this is odd. I have a new 870 Wingmaster Trap 12ga, chambered for only 23/4". I do not have a home defense shotgun, and would like to swap my 30" trap barrel with this 18" barrel when the Wingmaster is not at the field. Does anyone know if this barrel will fit? Thanks in advance.

  Yes it will fit just fine but only use 2.75 inch shells if your original barrel/ receiver were for 2.75 in shells see note Model 870 Extra Barrels with 3 chambers will fit Super Magnum, Magnum and 2.75" receivers. These barrels will handle both 2.75" and 3" shells when used on Magnum receivers. *********Use only 2.75" shells when these barrels are used on 2.75" receivers

  Seems like it would work, but its not its intended purpose. So I would look for a sure thing first. If you do settle on this, it will likely work. But you may run into an unseen problem too. Its a risk that may work out.
