I purchased this rifle pre-Remington bankruptcy so its unlikely you can get one now. It is a good firearm, typical Remington 700 so it shoots fine, the action is very good and trigger satisfactory. I would recommend a 700 to anyone wanting a good hunting rifle that will last a lifetime with a little care.

Bought this weapon a little over a year ago. It was coupled with a Vortex Diamondback Tactical 6-24x50mm optic. Insanely accurate, I would even go as far to call it a precision rifle. I have made shots at 1200yds and take several deer with this rifle. Incredibly happy with this purchase! Definitely a legacy firearm!

The Remington 700 SPS stainless steel 300 win mag is a great gun built on the 700 platform. It’s well constructed and shot great right out of the box. I was able to get sub MOA groups in about 6 shots. This gun will last me a lifetime!

As always I have found Bud's prices and products great. I am very happy with look and feel of my new Remington 700 Stainless 300 win mag. Action super as are balance.

Absolutely hands down amazing recoil, for a 300 mag. If you can shoot a 12 gauge shotgun you can handle this rifle with ease.

Great looking rifle, was also shocked to see the jewelled bolt on the rifle. Very smooth action and crisp trigger pull. Was not very impressed with the feel of the stock compared to the older BDL stainless models. Overall great rifle.

So... this is my first time purchasing a bolt action rifle. I did a ton of research and for the price this gun was just what I was looking for. I read the reviews on Buds and saw that someone said this rifle has a jeweled bolt. I was a bit skeptical because I called Remington and they said "No, this does not have a jeweled bolt" I then asked "Are you sure" I was told "Yes, I am sure". I went ahead and ordered the rifle any way. About a week after ordering I had the rifle in my hands. BUDS did a fantastic job of getting the rifle shipped out fast even thought they said it would be 7 to 9 days before it shipped but it was shipped 3 days after ordering. As soon as I opened up the box I went straight to the bolt and to my surprise the bolt WAS jeweled. This is a great rifle. I added a Harris bipod and Bushnell Elite 6500 scope, I cannot wait to shoot it this weekend. BUDS is great, and I look forward to ordering from them again.
