The Remington Model 700 SPS Bolt Action Rifle is built on the legendary tradition of the iconic Remington 700 with a Special Purpose Synthetic stock. It's chambered in .300 Remington Ultra Magnum and has a 26" barrel for reaching targets at incredible ranges. The magazine holds 3 rounds of hard hitting ammunition and it has an all weather ergonomically designed synthetic stock. The rock solid receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts and the rifle features a matte blued finish. It also includes a hinged floor plate magazine, and sling swivel studs. The Remington Model 700 SPS is the high quality workhorse you are looking for in a bolt action rifle.

Nice rifle. Has worked flawlessly. Trigger is quite decent, right out of the box. The stock seems well designed to absorb recoil. Despite being warned that shooting a 300RUM would subject me to enormous punishing recoil, I found it not to be particularly abusive, even when loaded up with full charge heavy projectile ammo. By way of warning, I do regularly shoot my 6" S&W 500, so my recoil tolerance/brain damage from that may have skewed my perception.

I love my .300rum. I take it and my 7mm mag to a 600 yard range and fire them. The rounds are expensive but it is worth every dime. The .330 rum is perfect for the long range firing.

Went to the store and worked with a customer service rep to purchase a new Rem 700 SPS .300 Ultra Mag. The transaction itself was flawless and the gun was sent quickly (6 days) to their location for pickup. Purchasing this particular product was extremely pleasant. The only downfall is it comes from the manufacturer (new in box) dry as a bone, desperately needing gun oil. (Buds not responsible for this)

This is a fantastic rifle and caliber! I've put several hundred rounds through it already and haven't had a problem! It's light and durable and shoots true every time. Everything you would expect from the Remington 700 series! The .300RUM is a fantastic caliber too. I've taken everything from Whitetail Buck to Black Bear with it so far. The only downside is the price of the bullets!!! If you're planning to shoot this often - look into a re-loader!

Showed up from Buds dry as a bone. Very light to mild corrosion on the bolt and carrier assembly. I probably would have refused this item, if I didn't enjoy cleaning and caring for firearms as much as I do. It's a 700 bolt, so we all know that it will fire like a champ if and when I decide to break this bad boy in.

Great gun @ great price ,much cheaper than I could find it everywhere else. shoots great but has alot of re-coil about like a 12 gauge 3.5" mag. thanks Buds for the great sevice.
