Got this one for my daughter. At 4' 10" it fits her so much better than my full sized Weatherby 308 I was wanting to give her. it was just to long and heavy for her size. I have taken it hunting a couple times and I have to say I really like the scaled down size over my mod 700 BDL I carry most of the time. it's a pleasure to carry, quick to shoulder and on target fast. It does come with a few extra recoil pad spacers if there is ever a need for length of pull adjustment. With it's preferred load it shoots a little under an inch but most loads are around 1 1/2". I think with a little bedding work and floating it will be a descent shooter. My only negative with this one is the finish. I think Remington applies the bluing with a paint roller, it's no better than most entry level rifles and not as nice a some out there but it sure costs a lot more. The metal work is no where near that of my Stainless BDL. However, this is a hunting riffle so I'm not loosing sleep over it. Overall I really like this little riffle. Most of mine have 24" or longer barrels. That may change.
