Fired 103 rounds through the revolver when the action completely jammed. Can't pull trigger, pull back hammer or eject the cylinder. A revolver should never fail in this manner, I had to take the gun apart and fiddle with the mechanism just to remove the live rounds from the cylinder. Sent back to Taurus and told it could take up to 6 weeks to fix and return. Its unsafe and unreliable and taking six weeks to get fixed is unacceptable. Spend the extra bucks and buy a 22 Mag from another manufacturer.

I just received the gun yesterday and it is quite good. It has the tendency to hang a bit when closing the cylinder but it will have me trained soon. I was getting the hang of it after only one session. It shoots a nice pattern at 25 yards but I have not had a chance to fully bench test. It only gets a 4 rating because the cylinder has a bit more rotational play than it should. My old Navy Arms cap and ball locks the cylinder with almost zero movement where this gun's cylinder will move about 0.015 inch which can affect accuracy. The accuracy is good, it could be even better with a little more attention to detail. I will be doing a bit more testing but I am very satisfied with this revolver. I feed four different types of ammo through it and it was happy with it all. It is comfortable gun for me to shoot but I can see where large hands might be a problem. The trigger pull is very nice in single action which is what I bought it for and the double action is smooth and predictable.

this ia a well made gun and it is very accuate. the more i shoot it the better i like it. i did find out in a hurry that it dont work well with cheap ammo. with cheap ammo you will have a problem with the cylinder turning after you have fired a shot, not every time though. i been shooting good qualty ammo now and i never once yet had that problem again.-- if you are looking for a great 22 magnum i would check this one out for sure

Man I really like this gun. Nice heft, soilid feel. I felt the trigger pull was perfect and I really liked the double action. . I felt I was dead on around 20 yards or so but then I really backed up and started shooting at a garbage can lid. Im guessing around 75 -100 yards. it seemed to be hitting high and to the left so I started to aim low and to the right. after I got it down I was hitting it - not sure if this was me or the sights need to be adjusted. I was very suprised that I could hit anything at that distance with a revolver. Also like useing 22 mag rounds very fast (1900 -2200 fps) and deeper penetration than 17hmr 9mm or a .38. Only thing I didnt care for - grips should be bigger maybe thats just me I have big hands. (Im 6' 3" and weigh 240) Buds has the best prices by far anywhere in my area and online. Tried to call them a few times about payment options and noboby ever picked up the phone so I just sent in a money order. Once it went through they sent it to my ffl quickly. overall a good experience and looking foward to doing business with them again. I really like the reviews on there website I like hearing diffrent views.
