I love this firearm! Very accurate with long rifle and WMR. (Mine is the convertible with 2 cylinders). My Single Six arrived with a broken right grip panel and the Ruger plastic case was severely broken. I can see the case being broken in shipment but I do NOT see how the grip panel could have been broken in shipment. Anyway, Ruger promptly sent me a new pair of grip panels. All's well that ends well!

Very accurate revolver. So accurate you can use it for hunting small game.

Buds shipped this out earlier than expected. Great service. The revolver is very well built, and shoots both 22 LR and 22 WMR with good accuracy. I like the stainless version more than I thought. It's an excellent buy.

Nice solid revolver. Well made as most Ruger's are. I enjoy shooting it and the cylinder is easily changed.
There is one problem however. The grips do not fit well. They are too small on the front and leave metal to be gripped by the hand instead of wood. I will be changing them for a pair that fits fully.

Great single action six shooter. Shoots both 22 mag and 22 lr well. Rugers finish is excellent. Really looks sharp and is one of my favorite handguns for plinking. Can't go wrong with this gun.

Unlike so many "reviews" here that say nothing about the product and only talk about Bud's service, this will actually be about the product. First. Solid doesn't begin to describe how well built this is. It is overbuilt in many ways and it is tight! This gun won't be wearing out from shooting that's for sure. I've only had maybe 100 rounds of .22LR through it and a half box of the magnums but from 15 yards (what I had to work with that day) point of impact was surprisingly close between the two loads. I had one failure to fire from the LR BUT it was Remington Thunderbolts and I have had failures to fire from every single firearm I've used them in before. The primer strike was solid so it wasn't an issue with the mainspring.
The sights are easily adjusted and the gun points naturally but I would have liked a higher visibility front site instead of all black. Looking around at after market it is easily and cheaply replaced if it becomes an issue. The entire front sight assembly comes off, not the blade. Only 1 screw to loosen. The cylinders are clearly marked. The LR is fluted and the magnum cylinder is not. There is some creep which is par for the course with a transfer bar system but with a little practice it almost becomes two stage. First the take up to the "wall" then the letoff itself is quite crisp. If you are debating between this and a cheaper single action revolver this will never disappoint. I can't say that about the cheaper guns.
One last thing: if you are torn between the stainless steel and the blued version the stainless steel gun is all steel. The blued version uses an aluminum grip and ejector rod shroud. Lighter but I want the strength of steel in a handgun like this. Same applies to the centerfire Blackhawks except for the Super Blackhawk.

This is another Ruger pistol I have wanted for a while. It has a very smooth action, and I don't think any pistol could be more accurate. It is nicely balanced and just plain feels good. It has the ability to fire 22 LR or the 22 Mag. Changing it over from one to the other is easy and takes mere seconds. I am very happy with this fine revolver. I was surprised how quickly it arrived at the FFL Dealer Store where I have fire arms shipped!

The ordering of the item from your website was very easy. The dealing with the FFL was also flawless. I am very pleased with my purchase and look forward to doing business with Buds Gun Shop again.

Another quality firearm from Ruger. Smooth action, nice metal fit with good tolerances. No scratches and polish on the stainless is above average. Have not shot it yet but I expect nothing less then great performance from this plinker.

Dealing with Buds was very smooth, and the firearm quickly arrived to FFL. The weapon arrived in "new" condition, without any flaws or blemishes. I read a review about the packaging, and it arrived in a hard case appropriately packed to protect the firearm for transit. With that said, I am very impressed with this firearm. It seems to be very well built and solid. I have not shot it yet, and thus cannot comment on that aspect. I am very pleased with this addition to my collection and highly recommend it.

I love my Ruger single six.. However i changed the sights to Williams Fire Sights because i cant see very well.. I've run about a 100 rds thru it shoots great.. If you're looking for a single action pistol dont hesitate to buy this one.. Buds is great to do business with.. Other than the fact it took 8 days for my e-check to clear their process.. It cleared my bank in one day Still a great pistol.. Charles Clark

Great service from Bud's. Delivery was within a week just in time for Xmas. The revolver looks great and it fits well in my hand. I have visited the range twice now and shoots well with both the 22LR and 22 mag.. Haven't had to adjust the sight as I am shooting center mast at 50 ft. Ruger makes a great product,

This is a great firearm. It looks and feels great. It fits medium to large hands well. The action is smooth and sights are typical. The wood grips look really good and area nice touch. It is very easy to switch out the cylinders. This will be a great addition to my collection for years to come.

I want to first comment about Buds: No one has better prices and service. Even if I had to pay a little extra money through Buds (thankfully I don't) I would gladly do it because of how seamless they make a firearm purchase. As for the Ruger Single Six Convertible: I dare someone to find a nicer looking revolver . . . and . . . it shoots just as good as it looks. My first six shots were in a two inch group and it just got more and more fun as I shot it. I couldn't be happier with the purchase.

Seemless operation, found what I was looking for, they already had my dealer's FFL on file and item was delivered quickly. About the Ruger Single Six Converitble, stainless, 6.5 inch barrel,,,,The Ruger speaks for itself. If you've never had one or shot one,,,,you need to find one. A great little handgun to shoot. No recoil, cheap ammo and as accurate as the person squeezing the trigger. A fun gun to have,,,,,

Nice gun, fired 300+ at the range with no misfires. Heavy gun compared to most 22LR pistols, not used the 22mag option yet. Only issue is the finish in the cylinder bay off, scratched on the bottom, hopefully this isn't due to use and will not get worse over time? The sights good, the grip solid even with my large hands. I have a couple of Colt Frontier Scouts and the quality of this Ruger is comparable with the notable exception regarding the finish below the cylinder.

A beautiful gun! Looks exactly like the picture shown, only the grips are a little darker. Bud's is the ABSOLUTE price leader for firearms and accessories on the web! Period. It's even better than the auction sites and shipping is free! Thanks Bud's!
