If you buy this gun prepare to do some gun smithing. You will have to find the Walther P22 Bible online and start modding it. If you don't this gun will damage the slide and you will only be able to shoot CCI Minimags. I have done all of the mods from the Walther P22 Bible and can shoot any ammo through it now. I also replaced the extractor with an aftermarket Volquartsen extractor as it was having some extraction problems. Its a cheap part so no big deal ($10). Just be prepared. Also, a lot of people have had the slides crack entirely as they are made from pot metal and not steel. For this price, buy a ruger...

I read the comments on the p22. Some bad some good, I figured what the hell. Most of the time you read only the bad ones. Don't stand back from this one, it's a little lead processor. I started with the 60 grain aguila, fired first time then failed to load. I didn't get real excited. they won't feed in the marlin rifle. Loaded up with winchester 36 grain bulk 555. Then it turned into the lead processor. Bought for my wife as a carry, double action, firing pin block, little jump and complete with factory laser. I am more than pleased with this one. Still like my mark 111, and it likes the 60 grains.

I like the pistol. Give it a 5. The laser works but you can't use it with a holster unless you round off the barbs on both sides near the bottom. I wish I had waited for the integrated version.
