I ended up trading this gun after carrying it and shooting it for quite some time. This gun has features to carry anyway possible cocked and locked, de-cocked and and double action...you name it. Reliability is never a question had so many rounds thru it. Then you may ask why did I trade it? I could not shoot this gun worth anything. This no reflection on the quality or reliability of this gun this was just a me thing. With both my RAMI and my BUL AMRMORY SAS ULTRA at 7 yards Im a 9 and 10 ring guy all day. With this gun if all my shots were 7 ring or less I was lucky. I could never pin down why. And with other guns I shoot better and allot more natural I decided to get rid of it. Don't hesitate to buy if you want a reliable gun with multiple ways of carry but I would shoot one first to see if you had same problems I did. Btw I tried every backstrap, some helped but none completely fixed the issues I was having. Like I said this was "ME " thing not the guns fault

Excellent! Fits my hand like a glove, love the true ambidextrous operation. Bought this to carry on my left side after right side shoulder surgery and couldn't get my 45 to cycle with my left hand. Updated the sights to Trijicon, and added the HK magazine modification kit to get more rounds. All this and it's a tack driver at the range, double or single action, with decocker, just couldn't ask for a better quality firearm. It's now my daily carry.

I love this pistol. I've fed it many types of ammo and it digests and puts them all into very small groups. The fit and finish is superior to any pistol I've owned, including other H&K's. In my opinion this is the best compact 9mm on the market. It comes with several panels to adjust to individual hands. but it fit me perfectly from the box. Highly recommended.

This is a phenomenal pistol and I actually shoot the SK model as well as I do my P30L. It’s accurate, reliable, and the trigger is not as bad as many state. I have honestly never had an issue or malfunction with any HK and I own more than a few. Buds was amazing as always and shipped very quickly with no issues.

This gun I like because I have a small hand with arthritis and it fits and feels good.Very accurate, I wish they had the magazine release on the side instead of by the trigger.

Shoots great and functions flawlessly. Great build quality and very accurate for a sub compact. Trigger is decent in both da and sa though there is substantial take up in sa but it breaks nicely. Probably not the best choice for summer carry as its kinda chunky. Bud's was great as always, they even (accidentally?) Upgraded me to the night sight version ��

Great quality handgun. Great carry gun this sub compact! I have shot it at 7, 10 & 15 yards. The rounds go right where I want. Very accurate for a short barreled gun! No issues at all. A safe carry gun to be sure..

I own several H&K products and have to say the P30SK is great EDC for me and it is great conceal. I would highly recommend this pistol to anyone who is looking for high quality handgun to carry that will not let you down when you most need it!!

WOW! This gun exceed my expectations! Fit, finish and feel are great! 1st Trip to the range with 3 different weights ammo from 4 different manufactures, over 250 rounds not one issue! 100% functionality! The P30SK is well on it's way to becoming my go to Concealed Carry piece. It would be nice if HK shipped them with a 13 round mag? However, +2 base pads are available for the stock 10 rounders! This was my 1st HK purchase, I foresee others in my future!

Straight up one of the best guns I’ve ever shot, on target and without problems. Very smooth trigger, everything about it feels right,excellent craftsmanship. Now to find the right holster to match my needs.

Nothing short of the quality firearm that I was expecting. I purchased this as a daily cc gun to replace my G26, and while it's bulkier / heavier, it still feels great. Haven't had the chance to put a ton of rounds through it yet, but I'm very happy with the way it shoots. The only upgrade that I foresee is adding night sights.

I’ve had this pistol for a few months. I’ve put maybe 500 rounds through it. No jams or hiccups out of it. Feels great in my hand with the pinky extension on the mag. There’s a lot of travel in the trigger, but other than that it’s a great little gun to keep in your truck or on the nightstand, and it’s also easily concealable.

What is there to say about the HK P30 that hasn't already been said. Great Gun for the money. I actually paid less than 614.00 but that was a while ago when I purchased. just now getting around to the review. It's a great gun. Buds is a great place to buy from. First, on Bud's. Excellent customer service from beginning to end. Bud's does a great job working with the receiving FFL to keep them up to date on shipment data and to ensure all paperwork is taken care of. I have purchased several firearms from Bud's over the past several years and have become a loyal customer because of their great pricing, fast delivery, and great customer service (if you ever have a problem, give them a call and they will make it right)! Second, the firearm. I have owned a full sized P30 for a few years, and it's one of my favorite shooters. I thought the P30SK would be a good carry option. I bought the V3 (safety and decocker) because I generally carry at the abdominal position - a safety is very important for obvious reasons. From a concealed carry perspective, the P30SK is not the perfect choice for me personally, but only because I'm a very lean guy, so I need something thin. This same fact rules out other fine weapons that I have tried like the Glock 26 and Walther P99C AS. That being said, this would be a perfect carry weapon for most average American men. The weapon itself is just amazing, as one would expect from H&K. If you are already familiar with the P30, this truly is a smaller version of the same, with the same great functionality. The replaceable backstrap and side panels allow the user to customize the grip significantly, making it comfortable for just about any user. The extended magazine allows me to get all fingers on the grip, the short magazine leaves my pinky loose, but that is normal for sub compact 9mm's. The pistol I received was perfect in every way - no manufacturing defects or machining marks. It functioned flawlessly at the range. I used a mix of range ammunition (115gr ball) and defensive ammunition (Hornady Critical Defense and Ruger ARX). No malfunctions of any kind and the sights were dead on. With the ball ammo I had to aim at the bottom of the point of impact, with the hotter self defense ammo I brought the sights up center mass. Windage was perfect. All features worked as advertised. Recoil is managed very nicely with the H&K dual recoil spring, making this little guy very pleasant to shoot, and very easy to shoot controlled pairs with. Added benefit, you can use full size P30 magazines, so for range sessions I had to spend far less time reloading. Lastly, the trigger is very consistent with the full sized P30. In DA its of medium weight and fairly smooth - no takeup or hitching. In SA it is about average - but very comfortable. The trigger is much nicer than striker guns, which is one of the many reasons I prefer a hammer over a striker. Bottom line, I love my P30SK. Although I won't be carrying it because of its chunkiness, I wouldn't hesitate to rely on it as a self-defense weapon - it's H&K quality through and through, with excellent ergonomics.

Being an H&K you can expect this gun to run flawlessly and have no issues. You would be correct in that assumption. It feels good in the hand, points naturally, and is a good shooter. It is a little heavier than a comparable Glock but the trigger is better than the Glock. Very nice range gun and suitable as a CCW.

This is the best pistol I have ever shot. It is accurate and reliable. The adjustable hand grip has a wide range to make it fit your hand well. I would definitely recommend this gun and Buds.

First, great service from Buds, as always, and the price was excellent. Second, my first impression of this pistol is that it's pretty amazing. Took it to the range today and run 200 rounds through it, problem free. Fairly light and comfortable in the hand and easy to shoot, especially using the magazine with the pinky extension. And best of all, accuracy is awesome. This is my 6th 9mm pistol and by far the best overall (second is my CZ P01). HK came up with a beauty in this pistol.

Great product and great buy! I got it yesterday and immediately put it in the range. Sent 200 rounds down range right out the box... Perfection! Shot groups of 5@20' in a 2 inch diameter. Thank you Buds, great buy at a great price.

Great little pistol. Conceals well and lightweight. First range trip ran 200 mixed rounds of 115-124gr of new, re-loads, and self defense ammo with out any problems. Accuracy is excellent out to 15 yards, basically it's shoots where you aim it. Makes a nice ragged hole on your target with grouping. The de-cocker is stiff and will take some getting used to. Safety is easy, if you shoot 1911's no problem here. Sa/da trigger is nice no complaints. Mag release is different but ultimately I really like it and drops the mag fast and reliably. The sights are not tritium but charge well with any light and glow excellent in the dark. Haven't had the need to mess with grip panels, fit well out of the box. Overall I'm very pleased with the pistol and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone in the market for a polymer pistol who wants something different from the others in the market.
