Got this gun from buds put a 8-32x44 scope on it cleaned the barrel. took to the range 6 shots then started shooting 5 shot groups at 100 yards 3 of the 4 were under 3/4 in 1 with 68 gr. 2 with 75 gr. bullets. Not bad for a gun that is not broken in . I think I am going to like this one.

The CZ laminated varmint in .223 is a very nice rifle. I also have this same rifle with the walnut stock. Both of mine do best with HPR 60 gr. vmax, although I have not tried anything lighter than 55. Even though they have a 1:9 twist medium weight barrel, 60 gr. seems to be the max weight bullet my CZs can handle. Sub-moa up to 200 yards using a 24x scope. I have not tried longer ranges yet. 62 and 69 weight bullets do not group well. The LOP on this rifle is 13", which is a bit short for me. I'll be extending the butt of the stock to increase the pull to 13.75". As usual, doing business with Bud's was great.

Very nice rifle, we looked at the other brands from Remchester, Ruger and Savage but the overall quality and accuracy from CZ wins again....you will be amazed at this brand! Comes with 5 year warranty from CZ...delivery from Buds was fast and fuss free, Buds always super helpful and the best prices! Thanks Buds Guns and Mid County Guns in Maryland for making Christmas one to remember!!!

This is a wonderful rifle. the barrel is floated all the way to the chamber, bolt slides wonderfully(the mini-muaser design is awesome). it is a little heavy for a .223 but that only means more inherent inertia therefore less recoil and quicker times getting back on aim. the magazine takes a bit of practice to get to where you can comfortably slide it in with ease, and it is made out of steel so no floppy plastic mags. aftermarket parts are literally non existent aside from universal fit parts. But you really dont need anything else other than nice optics for this rifle. the set trigger is amazing, on normal operation it has a rather lengthy travel yet still light(i would say probably about 3lbs) but if you click it forward and set the trigger you literally breathe on it and it fires. safety is a little stiff but im sure it is because it is still brand new so the parts need a bit of movement to loosen up.

This gun is a tack driver! I handload a moly coated 55 grain Hornady V-Max and it shoots excellent. The bull barrel makes it a little heavy to carry, but it is a fine shooter. The only problem that I have with this gun is that the detachable magazine is uncomfortable when carrying this rifle.
