Springfield Armory XD Mod2 Sub Compact 9mm is my favorite gun. It is my primary concealed carry weapon. It’s feeling great in my hands. The XD series is easy to disassemble and reassemble. I like the passive safety for extra measure. The sights provide excellent visibility and the trigger pull is light. Springfield Armory great reliable firearms. I have other XD calibers that I shooter often.

Amazing gun. Very god for conceal

So far my favorite handgun of all time, despite the relatively low price. Well-balanced and smooth-shooting. Even new shooters feel comfortable with it, as it's not as snappy as many similarly small guns. Runs without ever a hiccup.

Purchased this in 2016 along with a HK VP9. I am a lefty so i prefer the ambidextrous and I have been a fan of HK for years. My wife liked shooting the XD at the range so I bought this for her. She really hasn't used it much. With the smaller dimensions, I tended to use this for my C&C. However, I recently purchased a HK VP9 SK, so if she doesn't use the XD , I may sell it. That being said. I don't have any negative comments considering the price. Yes, I prefer the ergonomics of my HK's but considering the price difference, the XD has been fine. And in comparison to some of my friends Glock's and S&W M&P; I feel the XD is equal or better in quality and ergonomics for the price.

I really like Springfield firearms. This is my 4th one all have worked flawlessly! This XD 9 Mod 2 Subcompact has run great, I've zero issues with on the range. The fiberoptic front sites are easy to see. Shoots great right out of the box (I cleaned it first). Budsgunshop.com was great to deal with! Was up front with shipping times, payment options from the start! Came new just as stated in the listing, gun, two mags, 13 and 16 rounds, cleaning brush, extra fiberoptic, quality case. Have recommended to several people already! Will buy from Bud's again!

I haven't been to the range with it yet, but it is brand new in factory packaging. The entire process from cash payment to delivery takes place exactly as Bud's promises. The price was the lowest I found allowing me to purchase a few extra magazines, too.

Great little gun with a lot of rounds for the size

This is a great sub-compact gun. Very little recoil and on target from the 25' on a 10" plate over and over and over haha. Love the Mod2 grip update. I wanted something that carried more the 6 to 7 rounds but was easy to conceal. I have put 100's of rounds of cheap steel ammo and high grade target and defense ammo through it and not one FTF or FTE. The slide did not lock back a few times when it was breaking in but I cleaned it and lubbed it up and no further problems. Overall great purchase for the price. I was on the fence with several other sub-compacts and I am more than happy I purchased this one. Buds came through again with a price match and received the gun 3 days after making purchase. I also like the lifetime warranty add-on, helps with whatever piece of mind you might need if something happens to your gun. Thanks again Buds.

I need to state first that I haven't even held a gun in years, but this thing makes the old saying about riding a bike come true. After some former colleagues received credible threats (and worse), I bought this rather incredible handgun for both home defense and as a concealed carry weapon, and I am not disappointed. It's large enough to fit in my hand snugly while being small enough to conceal easily, all while providing the capacity of the much larger service weapon that I'm used to. The fiber optic front sight is wonderful, allowing for quick target acquisition. So far, I haven't had to sacrifice anything in order to get a smaller frame gun like I was expecting to have to! I haven't taken it to the range yet, but am eager to see how it performs. I would definitely recommend this firearm to anyone who's looking for a concealed carry, home defense or personal defense weapon.

This is the 2nd Mod 2 pistol I've purchased. Ergonomic changes to pistols are often overlooked because they don't make the bullets faster or the trigger softer. I've been impressed with this ergonomic redesign because it makes such an improvement in the way the gun feels when I'm shooting. Most sub compacts are not that fun to shoot, this one is! My carry gun has long been the XDS but that is about to change. This new XD is so compact and easy to handle, the extra rounds are just the cherry on top!

Love this gun. Bought it for my wife for her EDC. She's totally happy with it. Shoots smoothly and accurately.

Amazing pistol. Originally, I ignored this gun right off the bat, due to “Grip Zone” being on the grip. I thought it was so tacky. When I did finally get to hold one, I fell in love with the grip immediately. They nailed it! Fits me perfectly anyways, I know it won’t work for all. After firing 50 rounds, I came to buds and ordered one. This is now my go to carry gun. Buds had super fast shipping, and great pricing as usual, thanks guys!

My second purchase from Bud's, yet another smooth and speedy transaction, but as far as Springfield haven't got a chance to fire it yet but the quality of the firearm is amazing not a fan of the words "GRIP ZONE" on it but the feel surpasses my expectations love the features fiber optic sights, loaded chamber indicator, not to mention 17 rounds in a subcompact it's worth every penny... Bought this gun for conceal carry. Very pleased the way it fit in the waist band, love that it comes with two different size magazines. Gun fires great, recoil is minimal and very comfy grip. Pretty accurate, and no one ever notices it under my shirt taking it where ever I go.

Buds price beat out any local gun shop around. This is my second Springfield XD. I also have the XD9 service, & you can’t beat the looks & quality of SA guns. Between the two I have over 1500-1800 rounds of various ammo thru them with ZERO failures! The mod2 9mm is my daily, I carry with the flush mag 13+1 and keep the 16 round mag on the nightstand. The grip safety adds an additional level of safety when carrying +1. Awesome gun, thanks Buds I’ll be buying more guns here.

This is an outstanding gun! You will not find a better subcompact. Not only is it a beautiful, accurate, and reliable weapon, but Springfield has managed to create a subcompact with a capacity that is anything but. This is easily my favorite gun at the moment, and I can't recommend it highly enough!

The purchase experience was without any problems, the order was shipped in a timely manner to my FFL dealer, the firearm was as advertised and in perfect condition when received. I have a handful of polymer handguns and this one is by far the most accurate and just feels right in the hand and shooting. I have a Kimber 1911 that shoots very well, probably because of the stability of the weight, and this gun shoots just as well or better. Apples to Oranges I know between the .45 and the 9mm, but this thing is stable, easy to acquire the target and does the recoil is minimal. Out of all my guns this is becoming my favorite. Well made, small, easy to conceal in IWB holster with a tucked in shirt and yet it has 13+1 instead of the 7+1 of my Ruger LC9. Granted the LC9 is so flat that concealed, it is my most comfortable, but considering the double capacity, the XD Mod2 in 9mm is worth it. For the price point, I don’t think you will find a nicer concealed carry compact with this high capacity magazines. I shot 200 rounds the day I got it with no problems. It is a dream to clean, especially since you don’t have to take out a barrel pin, but simply flip it in the upright position to take the gun down. I would buy another Springfield XD in a second and may try a .45 sometime.

I love both my XDS45. and XD MOD2 I think it's one of the safest conceal carry brand you can buy.

I bought this on a whim and it has become my full time carry. I thought that I'd need an extended mag to shoot this comfortably but turns out I didn't. I'm accurate with it and I've yet to have a failure with it and I've run all kinds of stuff through it. Despite its size and weight it's something I don't leave the house without.
