Little small for my hands but I expected that. After getting mag extensions I liked it and was able to shoot it comfortably. Buds as always gets 5 stars

This is my second Springfield XD. My first is a 40 in all black and now I have this 9 in FDE. The model 2 is changed very slightly from the original XD. Grip Zone is very well designed and the new fiber optic front sight is a great upgrade from the original white dot. The gun shoots very smooth and I now use it for my EDC. Buds delivered very quickly and the price was by far the best around.

Excellent ccp. Small, accurate, quality built pistol from SA. A little heavier than similar size pistols but it's a double stack so you get the extra rounds. Overall great gun.

I was waiting for the CZ P10, and wanted a smaller EDC. After a lot of research and testing I fell in love with this Firearm. It's been 100% reliable with all ammo types, very accurate. More accurate then me that is for sure. The extra grip safety has been a total non issue but is an extra safety measure so no worries there. I wear the gun IWB at 7 o'clock as I'm a lefty and hardly notice it is there. The two mags it ships with are great and having the Xtension mag gives my hand better grip and the extra rounds are nice. I won't lie the Gear Up Promo was the icing on the cake. Love the Springfield Mod 2 and although goofy looking with the GripZone Logo it definitely feels great in hand. Buds is stellar to work with as well. Thanks!

Great service again from Buds. This was my third firearm purchase. I like the gun. Feels good in the hand. Nice trigger. Easy to pick up the front fiber optic sight. I'm very happy with this gun and the purchase experience.

Already have one of these in bi-tone we keep in my wife's vehicle. I just ordered a new truck with a console safe and used that as an excuse to buy myself one as a truck pistol. I've both just stored this in a vehicle and concealed carry. It is great for both. Also performs flawlessly every time it's been to the range.

The XD Mod 2 9mm feels balanced when paired with either magazine loaded with bullets. The high bore axis ensures smooth shots without the usual higher recoil when paired with the short barrel. The Mod 2 Grip Zone is just marketing from my perspective. I am highly disappointed in the grip! If you prefer a Hogue rubber type grip as I do, then you will not be satisfied with this gun as is.

First firearm purchased from buds. Buds was awesome. The firearm is fantastic. Feels very good in my hand, shoots incredible, very easy to handle. The sights are quick to get back on target. I beleive the gun will handle double duty, both carry and bedside.

Nice looking gun, and dead on accurate. Much more controllable than expected given its small size. Typical excellent Springfield quality, and looks very nice with the FDE frame and black slide.

This was my first online firearms purchase and as such,my first purchase from Bud's. Overall I am very happy with their service, delivery, and ease of use in ordering. The pistol is everything I thought it would be. Recoil very manageable, small enough to carry concealed and has the usual quality one would expect from a Springfield Armory product. Will definitely be using Buds again for future purchases.

This is a fantastic handgun for concealed carry, it fits very well in hand, I have no issue finding space to place my pinkie finger even with the flush magazine, like I have had in the past with my Glock 26. The grip texture is rough enough to provide a solid hold on the gun with out feeling too overwhelming to the hands like the grips on the XDS. The capacity is also a huge plus, 13 plus 1 was a huge selling point to me considering most other hand guns of this size usually hold around 10. You can also use full size Springfield XD magazines in this weapon, the extra 16 round magazine that comes with the Mod2 is in fact just a regular XD full size magazine with a grip sleeve going over it to provide extra length on the grip and to prevent the gun from looking and feeling awkward while firing it with the extended mag, the sleeve is not attached to the magazine so you can slide it off one magazine and place it on another should you choose to do so. All around great gun, you can't go wrong with it. great service from buds, had it in my hands 3 days after ordering it.

This is the weapon! When I am holding this gun I feel in control of the mechanics. Purchased mag pinkie extenders for the 13 Round clip. I have large hands and this was needed. This gun provides a warm and controlled fit to the hand unlike any I have ever shot. When fully loaded this gun has a somewhat heavy feel but this along with the double spring allows for better control of the recoil. Take down and cleaning a breeze. I am an older gentleman and my eyesight has waned some. The fiber optic sight is of great assistance when pulling in on target. The grip zone may sound funny to some folks but after 400 rounds at the range I have never felt a loss of control when firing this gun. I feel that it will perform as well when in the field. Springfield Arms has hit a home run out of the park with this design. Buy with confidence, when it grabs your hand you will know what I mean. Ric W. Texas
