I love this gun and I carry it everyday. It may be a bit heavy for some, but with a proper holster you hardly know it is there. This model is classy in appearance, and it is of course a Sig, so it is not only top quality in fit and finish, it is also solid and dependable. I shoot it every week at our club range with my own FMJ reloads and I can not recall a malfunction. It doesn't like feeding Hornady self defense ammo, but it loves both Cor Bon and Federal Guard Dog. Buy it. You won't regret it.

I just received my Ultra comp yesterday and immediately went to the range to test it out. After 75 rounds of mixed ammo from Winchester WB to Tula it performed like a champ! Very accurate right out of the box, and the feel of the G-10 grips was very nice. The magwell really makes it easy to load the mags, and the bumper on the base plate of the mags is a nice addition also. The pics do not do this gun justice, it is a real beauty in person! And unlike the Kimbers out there this Sig does not have a plastic mainspring housing. The stippling on the backstrap and frontstrap feels great in the hand, and makes the grip very secure. Recoil is almost non existent with this officer size .45, about the same as my 5" barrel. If you are in the market for a very compact .45, do not hesitate to pull the trigger on this Sig, you will not be disappointed!!!

Amazing accuracy from a 3" 1911! Played "shoot out the red center" carnival style and within 10 shots the red center of a man sized target at 7 yards was almost gone. Such a pretty gun and it shoots on point right out of the box. Buds was great as normal had this beauty in hand in 3 days. Buy this Sig, you wont regret it.

i have been searching for a compact 1911 to use as a ccw for some time now. i received this gun approx one month ago and i am so happy i waited for the right one. i have seen other Sig ultra compacts in the stores but this one for the money is just awsome. the color scheme looks amazing with the stainless against the custom grey handles is quite attractive. none of the ultra compacts i have seen in retail stores have had the beveled magazine receiver and this adds to the looks as well as ease of magazine insertion. as a ccw i have been wearing it in waist band. it has a bit of weight to it but not so much you feel like you are lugging something around weighing you down. i can sit comfortably without having to adjust due to the shorter barrel length. the grips are a bit longer than other ultra compacts but i prefer it fitting into my hand better. the first time i shot it i ran 50 rounds thru it without any issues what so ever. at 20 yards i could rapid fire and all 50 rounds were within a 5 inch cirle. the weight accepts the recoil very well for a compact. more practice and getting used to the sights i'm sure i will get this thing drilling tacks in no time. if you could find a comparable options gun in the store i believe it would hit $1400 easy

This is one sweet 45! Beautiful design, operates flawlessly, and will tac a dime to the wall. Can't believe the price during this dog run on guns! What a great deal on an even greater 1911!!! Solid construction and smooth operation, just like you would expect from Sig. Better get this while you can.

This is my first Sig and I couldn't be happier. When I received it I cleaned and lubed it and headed to the range. I ran 150 rounds of three different brands of ammo through it without a single problem. Workmanship, quality, fit, finish, trigger are all excellent. Recoil totally controllable and accuracy is great. If you are looking for a 1911 style concealed carry this is an excellent choice.
