Right out of the box accurate @ 25 yards. Fit & Finish are excellent. Like the unfinished grip as it let's me make it the size I want before I put on a tough clear finish. I would put this gun up against any competitor!

Absolutely wonderful gun. Very nice build quality that would rival the COLT or the S/W 1911s that I have and cost 3 times as much. The grip is not only gorgeous but feels great in my hand. Get comments on the looks every time I take it to the range. Well balanced. My favorite gun to shoot.

Great .45. Little play in slide to frame fit but expected for the price. Shoots great and trigger is very nice. Grips are a lot darker than in the picture but overall love this gun. You will not be disappointed with this piece. Solid performer and quite accurate. Great feel in the hand nice magazines as well. No brainer for entry level .45 without spending kimber like prices. Great process from buds once again.

I finally got around to firing my Tisas SS Enhanced. I shot about 25 rds of assorted ammo to see what it liked/disliked. It did not like the Wolf steel cased 230gr FMJ. The result was a FTF/FTE with a live round in the chamber. My gunsmith had to disassemble and remove the round. Afterward the slide would not cycle correctly causing serious worry. Shipped both ways on their dime and now the gun fires without flaw. My choice of poor quality ammo is not Bud's fault however, they fixed my Tisas in a jiffy with ZERO hassle. I could not be happier with Bud's service or now my Tisas.

This is a good 1911 on the inside, it has a very good trigger for the price, but DO NOT BUY THE STAINLESS ONE, the metal scratches very easily, I would probably rate the black one a 5 because it is cheaper and I am sure whatever coating they use is much more durable than the stainless.

50 rounds down the tube and so far it's pretty amazing for the price. The gun looks and feels great, just a few minor flaws but nothing noticeable. I really appreciate how tight and solid it feels. Slide to frame fit is perfect. Some downside: the sights seem to be a bit too high, the gun shoots a few inches low. May need to replace the front sight with a higher one. I don't think I was limp wristing it but there was some weird ejection and brass would fly straight up and land on my head. Otherwise, there were no malfunctions and once I compensated for the sights, I was nailing shots on the exact same spot. Very pleased to own a good entry level 1911.

Wow..... what a gun this is one of the most stunning 1911's I've seen f2f or the price. Got it in about 3 days (Thank you buds) took it to the range immediately performed flawlessly I was getting 2inch group's at 20 yards which I think is pretty good. Great gun if you are considering getting one do it you won't be let down.....

I bought this with the Shotgun combo. The gun shot amazingly out of the box without any problems. I'm a rookie shooter and was hitting bulls-eyes with this gun. There was some misspelling on the manual and it came in a cheap looking box. But once it came out it was a great gun. I ran about 200 rounds through it without any problems. Highly recommended. I just wished the shotgun would've arrived at the same time. Great gun at an amazing price and can't beat the shotgun combo. I haven't tried the shotgun yet but I'll put a review as soon as I do. Shipping was fast; ordered on a Tuesday and had the gun Friday.

The example that I received may have been a bad one. The slide had sharp edges on the bottom and the trigger pull was in the 10-11 lb range, the heaviest that I have ever felt on any 1911. I did not accept the transfer & returned this Tisas 1911 Stainless back to Bud's & they gave me a full refund. I will not buy any other Tisas products. I'll stick to known name brands in the future.

I ordered this back in January, but due to weather and a few other problems I wasn't able to take it to the range until today. When I took it out of the plastic case I was pleased with the fit and finish, the pistol is very tight, recoil spring is a little on the heavy side but no real issue with it. I fired some PMC out of it and some reloads that I had hanging around. The PMC's shot well no issues with failure to feed or extract. The reloads dirtied up the gun pretty good and I had to a little trouble with the slide. I put some oil on it and went back to factory new and didnt have any problems. The pistol show low and to the left, but I was still able to get some good 3 round groups at 25 yards standing. The walnut grips are a little darker then they appear in the advertisement and I found them to be a little slick in my hand. I replaced them with Hogue's. Would I order another Tisas? Yes, and I would gladly recommend them to someone looking for a low cost 1911.

This is an AWESOME, AWESOME 1911!!!! One of the best, smoothest, and functional 45's I've ever shot! Will eat any ammo put in it with NO problem. I also got the shotgun combo and that thing is WICKED too. It'll also eat whatever you put in it. From 2 3/4" bird shot to 3" 00 buck shot. Bud's has really outdone themselves with this combo. Great service with great products. Keep up the good work and I'm a customer for LIFE. Thanks Bud's.

so far I have been very pleased with this gun. I purchased it at the cash discount of $549 and received it within 10 days. the gun itself looks and feel great. the grips were darker than expected and look good with the gun. I fired 150 rounds so far with buffalo bore and wolf ammo. the buffalo bore ACP/255 ammo caused a loading error at least once per magazine. However once I switched to Wolf I had no errors in 125+ rounds. I have disassembled the gun and all parts look great and appear to be high quality. Two complaints , one, is that the edge of the grip safety and the webbing between my thumb and index finger were not getting along by the end of the day. second, is that the barrel sight. first it was coated by soot quickly and this made it difficult to aim. second, other reviews had said that the gun shoots low of the mark, this has been true for me as well. My lady shot with me as well and had no problems with the .45 kick., or hitting bulls-eyes on her first two shots. Overall great gun. It turns heads and doesn't t disappoint. Fun gun to shoot.

Finally took my Tisas to the shooting range today. Eat your heart out....I must have got that one in a million. I fired 100 rds at a 6 inch circle from 25 feet. Every round hit inside and I'm not that great of a shot. Very pleased and will be buying more magazines for it on top of the 4 that I have now. I am very pleased with it. A 100 rounds is all the blow back that this old man can handle. I'm glad I bought it. I'll take the 12 gauge combo deal out the next.
