Great upper, you cant beat it especially for the price. According to the box it is the upper to the Scout upper with a different hand guard. Took longer to get to me then it should have but was totally worth the wait. Getting ready to do another build with a friend and he is going to buy this upper too based on seeing mine.

For the price this Core 15 upper is great. Buds gun shop also did a awesome job with shipping very fast i will definitely order again.

$349 ridiculous price for a great product. I mounted the upper on a dpms lower I had already built, mounted a 2x7 cqb scope and headed to the range.(cleaned upper first) fired tulamo, wolf, Silver bear, colt, ppu & federal. 52,55,62gr. The first 10 rnds of Tula 55gr. weren't sending the bolt back far enough to strip the next rnd. I field stripped the gun, stripped the bolt and checked everything over. All appeared fine. Then I spayed some lube on the bolt reassembled everything and loaded 3 mags of wolf 55gr,silver bear and 62grPPU 90 rnds 100% I then fired another 60 more of the various ammo sighting in the scope at 50yds. I then fired the last 20 in the Tula mag. bingo 100% I think the tula was a little light powered but the 160 rnds may have broken the rifle in a bit. Accuracy was around 1 1/2 to 2" but I was shooting fast not shooting groups. very happy with the upper. I was going to put my 2.5x10 on and shoot some groups but I built this as an entry/CQB so I want it light, fast & reliable. Thanks again. P.S. My first AR-15 made by me with an upper core-15. I'm going to ride in a Lower Aero Precision. Although I'm in Puerto Rico was delivered quickly. A +++ I recommend the CORE-15.

I ordered 2 of these uppers. I had some existing lowers and scopes and mounts to use on them. From informal "rough" sighting in at 25, 50 & then off hand at 75 yards they shoot as well as any other AR's I own or have owned (a bunch, some higher end stuff). Brass case ammo functioned 100% of the time. The Cabela's "Herter's" steel case stuff failed to cycle the action quit a bit of the time but I was able to eject it via the charging handle. BTW the Hrters stuff even chokes on my .223 AK (Valmet M76). Steel case .223 is a no no in an AR. These uppers are a great deal!

Great deal on this complete upper. I bought two - one in FDE 1:9 twist and this Black one in 1:7 twist. Have put rounds through both with great results - no issues, 100% function. Ships directly from Core-15 in FL and fairly quickly. Seems to be all good quality parts and fit well on the $49 Anderson lowers! Very satisfied with this purchase!

Was building an AR build an got to the point where I just wanted a complected upper to finish it. The upper came in no time at all and it looks to be very well built. Shot a couple mags through it without a hiccup(both steel and brass case) and the "no bs warranty" that comes with CORE15 ar's is unmatched. They even cover things such as accuracy not being satisfactory. If I had another lower to strap this on I'd definitely buy another. Great upper, great price and Great service. Thanks,
