Adams Arms produces quality firearms and this piston driven is no exception. Adjustable gas block and runs forever without the gas related cleaning issues. Would recommend for a piston driven option.

This was a blemished ar and when I received it at my ffl dealer, him or I could not find the blemish which cut the price of this ar in half. Amazing gun and one of my favorites to this day.

Excellent rifle, always functions properly. Has never had any cycling issues. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a piston AR.

This rifle is amazing! I have fired countless rounds through this rifle from dirt cheap ammo to expensive ammo without experiencing any malfunctions, and as far as the blem goes I am yet to see anything at all on this rifle. Buds as always was fast and reliable. If you plan on buying a rifle in this price range I Strongly suggest this rifle. I am a 12 year Army Infantry combat veteran so I have fired my fair share of rifles and this one in particular is the best overall that I have had the privilege of putting rounds down range with. excellent product, and excellent service..thank Buds! Five stars for me!!

Arguably one of my favorite amd best functioning AR’s That I have and I have many including DD and Colt. I love the gas piston design and it does run cleaner and cooler. Even suppressed. No issues at all with the suppressor on this gun. I pimped it out amd it don’t look anything like it did but it is an awesome gun. Adams customer service might take a little time to get back to you but once they do they are very very helpful. Great American gun!

The gun had a few issue s but the life time warranty from Adam arms is great they fixed and completely put me a new upper on my ar and I use pof. Cam pin no marks inside my upper "great"

I bought this rifle because I wanted a piston operated model. This was sold as being a blem but I could not find a single spot anywhere. The performance of this rifle is nothing short of one of the best I have ever shot. I call it my "one shot-one kill" rifle. If I am targeting a bowling pin at 150 yards the bowling pin is getting hit. I wish I had somewhere to shoot where I could target objects at farther distances but am limited to local ranges. One of my favorite things is to target a plastic bottle 150 to 170 yards, hit it and hit it again before it stops moving. This rifle does that and much more. If you are looking for a top notch 5.56 piston operated carbine then look no further. The price was lower than I expected and the rifle performs flawlessly.

Awesome weapon! I've been shooting 5.56 for 46 year, and Adams Arms has a quality, reliable and easy maintenance weapon in this AR, that is as good as any out there, at a very reasonable price.

Shoots great. Gave 1st cleaning after 1500 rounds. Pretty light trigger and accurate. Didnt notice any blems

This piston carbine is amazing! Myself and three buddies tried finding a blem and couldn't do it. They are all die hard DI guys and after shooting it with me and dumping 500+ rounds through it, disassembled it and were astonished to see how clean it was. They're converted to piston guns and said they would be getting one. Great rifle!

Had multiple FTE and FTF with the bolt Jammed! A little trip to my Mechanic and a $50 later seems to be cycling ok. Still a decent price for a Piston AR

Could not find the 'blem' on this Adams Arms AR 15. Stuck a Millett Red Dot I had on it and went to the range. Did not even have to dial it in at 50 yds. Only shot 10 rounds since it was right on. As usual Buds was really fast with their shipping.

I bought this rifle on the recommendation of my boyfriend that has thad same Adams Arms ar 15 for over a year. I had handled his rifle several times and it seemed to be reliable and I enjoyed shooting it. Apparently, Adams Arms has consistency issues because my rifle, which I have now had for less than a year, has been nothing but issues. This spring, when I was able to get to the range again, I took the rifle out with some Wolf Gold that I had collected over the winter. After firing several rounds, I had a round not fire, and get stuck in the chamber. The round needed to be mortared out, and then thinking it was an ammo issue, I tried again. After one shot, it did the same thing again. I tried to hand cycle the ammo through, and had the same issue. The rounds that wouldn’t cycle through my rifle were loaded into my boyfriends ar to again test if it was an ammo issue. All rounds cycled through his rifle with out a single hiccup. I even contacted the retailer that I had purchased the ammo from to see if any issues had been reported to him, and they had not. At this point I contacted Adams Arms and they sent me a shipping label to return the rifle to them. About 6 weeks later, my rifle came back with a new barrel. Took it out to the range, and after a few shots, it still had the same issue. The rounds are so stuck that the extractor actually rips the rim right off of the case. I contacted Adams Arms again, and again they sent me a shipping label, as well as a label to send them some of my ammo to test the rifle. After about 4 weeks I emailed them to see what was going on, and I was told that they would find out and let me know. A week went by and I didn’t hear anything so I emailed them again. I was then told that they rifle was being looked at that day and I would know something by the next day. Two days later, I received an email from the gunsmith saying they had replaced the barrel (again), the bolt assembly and the gas block. The rifle was shipped back to me, and I took it to the range that weekend. It fired exactly 50 shots, and on the 51st, it fired, but the brass case was so stuck in the chamber that again the extractor ripped the rim out of the case which then had to be pushed out with a cleaning rod. Again, I emailed Adams Arms, but they have made it clear that they have done everything they can and are willing to do to correct the issue. If you like playing russian roulette with your money, perhaps this is the rifle for you, if not, I would keep looking.
