Had issues right a way with this pistol. It was a great price, but had to have SCCY send replacement parts right from the start. Stove Pipes with half the ammo that I have used in this pistol.

I originally had feed issues but with SCCY’s customer service warranty, the problem was taken care of free of charge.

Super safe 9mm even without a safety . fires point of aim although a little snappy it just works well. Buds great to deal with and i say this after several purchases.

Beware! I bought this gun over a year ago and it still doesn't work. I've filed mags and all that crap. Waste of my time and money. Will not feed, will not eject. I have never owned a firearm that has performed so poorly. I'm not even going to get into how bad it shoots and feels when you do get a round to chamber. I feel ripped off. It got 1 star because i had to select one, doesn't even deserve that. I will not buy a Sccy product again.

I bought this gun to use a "truck" gun and a gun for concealed carry in situations where I might be fishing or hiking. I like the 10rd capacity and durable construction. Lack of care would be a concern with this gun. The trigger is a long semi-heavy pull, but the gun shoots well and feeds my carry ammo without any issues. It is quite accurate and fills the hand well.

So i received my 9mm. The first 4 shots that i fired was fine but the last 5 the bullets were getting jammed. I cleaned and oil the gun but haven't fired again. I will be firing again and i will let u know. i will let u know after i try shooting it again

This is an excellent 9mm. I actually prefer it over the high dollar ones I have. I installed the aftermarket laser for it and it is perfect. Get this one and forget about any others. Looks great and shoots great. Definitely some quality to it and feels it should last a lifetime at least.

Great little gun took 3 trips to the shooting range to master its aiming and long trigger pull had some failures to chamber ,, solved the issue by loading the magazines 3 days before shooting. does have some recoil but managed to over come using both hands and a tighter grip , wife loves the size we have shot over 340 rounds without major issues. great price and quality and made in the USA

I bought one of these a few years ago and liked it, but a friend liked it better and talked me into selling it to him. Fast forward to now, I bought this one for a back-up to my main carry gun. It's my "truck gun, woods gun, garage gun, etc" and keep my main gun for the mean streets. It shoots to point of aim and took just a short time to get used to the long (but smooth) trigger pull. So far, so good. I bought from Bud's again because as usual they had the best price by far. The gun came in less than a week. Check Bud's first for your next purchase.

Well, I have to admit that I was a little apprehensive about this pistol when I first got it. I thought that I would hate it and then sell it to my gun store. Well, I took it to the range today and I have to say that I LOVE IT!!
I put five different types of 115 and 124 grain ammo though it and it ate it all up and asked for more. 100% point and shoot accurate at 7 yards. I couldn't be happier. Of course I will have a more definitive opinion after another 400 rounds through it. But yeah, I reccomend this SCCY CPX 2 for sure.

I finally got this SCCY to the range to test it out. I was a little worried as one I had purchased earlier for my wife had a failure to feed issue. Couldn't get through an entire magazine without at least one FTF. It went back to the factory which was very responsive. In the meantime I had purchased this one from Bud's. Bud's is awesome and fast. Anyway, I took them both to the range. While waiting to receive the firearm, I had purchased two other brands of 9mm ammo in order to see if it was an ammo problem or firearm issue. Turns out it was an ammo issue. I had one FTF with each SCCY in 50 rounds through each for one of the brands. The other two brands of 9mm ran flawlessly. So, the SCCY's MAY be a little finicky on what you feed it. Other reviews do not indicate they are. My experiment certainly is not definitive. I am really pretty darn happy with both of them. They were accurate and the recoil for such a light little gun was not bad at all. The trigger is a long one but not particularly heavy for me. It was heavy for my wife so I am going to get MCarbo kits for both as they need to be interchangeable between us. The price is extremely good for a little pistol of this quality. I am giving it 4 stars as it may possibly be a finicky ammo eater.

Dealing with buds was easy. The price for the sccy 2 was among the best. Gave them my ffl and it arrived in a reasonable time. For a small price they had a shipping waranty. I will be buying from them again.

This pistol was purchased with the intent to carry an "inexpensive" firearm in a gym bag for personal protection. The pistol looks and feels solid and I would not be concerned with it getting bumped versus one of my "high dollar" pistols. The cost was very attractive and the pistol is very handsome with lots of holster options. Extra magazines are readably available from SCCY.
When I received the pistol I loaded four 10- shot magazines with Herter's 115 grain FMJ target ammo. The pistol would not shoot 10-shots in a row from any of the four magazines without one or more failures to load. The cartridges were not sliding up the loading ramp into battery. The slide would only go partially forward. I also tried 40- rounds of Federal 115 grain JHP Hi-Shock and 40- rounds of Winchester 147 grain bonded JHP.
Same thing-numerous failures to load. To remedy the failure to loads I used a firm palm strike to the back of the slide to force it into battery to shoot. I plan to shoot a few hounded rounds through the pistol to see if it breaks in and the failures to load goes away. If not, I will send it back to SCCY for repair. In short... with the number of failures to load I would not trust or carry this pistol to protect myself in a deadly situation.
In addition, I found the trigger pull very long and heavy. The heavy pull may be a bit much for a person without a strong trigger finger. The stiff trigger pull adversely affected my accuracy at 7- yards. When shooting the pistol at 7- yards stabilized on a rest the accuracy was very satisfactory. The trigger reset was also very long and difficult to feel the reset. The long reset would greatly hinder the shooter's ability to "double tap" shots and or shoot multiple shots quickly in a fire fight. Another reason why I would not trust my life with this pistol.
In summary I rate this pistol very low due to the excessive number of failures to feed using various types of ammo.
In some ways the saying "you get what you pay for" applies to this pistol. My humble opinion is this pistol would be OK for occasional plinking, but not in a life or death situation.

I received my gun in 5 days after my order, even with all the chaos going on. I'm glad I bought this firearm when I did seeing as they are out of stock wherever you search. I haven't fired the gun yet, but it appears well made and was received as advertised.
